    Of all the people that do this kind of content, Frank is the best at it. His knowledge of music theory is amazing. He was not gifted with perfect pitch, but he trained himself to hear the pitch (there is a term for it, but for the life of me I can't recall it), and on top of that he knows how to convey emotion into his playing. It's more than just a talent, and I am envious.

      Actually his Relative Pitch is better than Perfect Pitch.
      One time he had to play a song with notes at a different frequency (tuned differently), a perfect pitch can't do it

    • @frankiek2269
      @frankiek2269 Год назад +2

      @@sunsteels. That doesn’t make any sense. Guaranteed Marcus Veltri could copy the song also. I’ve seen a kid [autistic] with perfect pitch imitate multiple keys pressed on the piano that didn’t make any sort of “correct” note. And he pressed the exact keys every time. And he was like ten years old. He was on 60 Minutes, 20/20 or one of those late night news shows on at Ten o’clock. Plus, this is like 15-20 years ago. But I remember it because it was really cool. First time I ever saw perfect pitch demonstrated.

He knows a lot of anime and game-related music, as well as classical pieces - and if people really don't know what to pick, he will often play one of his own compositiions..! Under pressure is a nice one if you like one with a loop machine, Africa from Toto if you like a live performance (but bit less sound quality) and is arrangement of Bohemian Rapsody is the best on the internet. He really is unique and by now performs for 1000s of people in stadiums, using every part of the piano to make his arrangements. He literally reaches for the snares inside to generate filtered sounds or add reverb.
    And anyone else not knowing this guy and looking him up now can thank me in the comments ;-)

But I think he has a good 17 years or so of experience. I was shocked to see that he worked for a digital piano manufacturer and there are videos of him reviewing digital piano features online. I don't remember the company name, but I think he was a product manager for at least one company like that. He was basically demoing and explaining the various features and such. He also has his own website for his music, I think has composed music for games(?) and such. Quite a diverse guy.

    Frank is easily the best pianist producing this type of content, his ability to take simple motif and expand it into something extraordinary on the fly is just incredible, his rendition of All Time Low in this video is so good even better considering he doesn't have perfect pitch. His knowledge of music theory is amazing.

    This isn't merely skill; it's the result of countless hours of practice and dedicated hard work

    I’ve just seen this video. Been watching frank for a couple years now. He is extremely good at this. Add you into it for vocals would be amazing as well as incredible content. You got my sub. 😊😊
