@@michaelc.8712 You're not wrong and even the magazine which is Japanese from an interview from one of the designers mentioned they based Rodan after Quetzalcoatlus. However, looking at the first form (the red version) looks more like a Pteranodon with a Ramphorhynchus tail than a Quetzalcoatlus.
I haven’t been able to find the soundtrack for this scene anywhere and it’s really good for keeping the comedic atmosphere. I still laugh at this because of it.
