Unlike some others, I thoroughly enjoyed this video, more than any of yours in a long time. This sort of astrophotography, going after dim or tiny objects that might not make a pretty picture, but are fascinating from an astronomy standpoint, is something I wish more people did. And I hope to do more of as well. It is very interesting to this astronomy-physics student.
Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback. I agree! I first learned about HH objects last year and was surprised more people haven't done videos of them. Then I found the paper on M78 and knew I needed to try to do a video on it. :)
Hi Mark! That’s really cool! I’d like to try this grouping of HH objects later this year when they are back up. I like that image outline overlay you did to identify the objects in frame. Cheers! Doug
Your videos used to be good. I enjoyed and learned from them. I think trying to be "entertaining" has made them unwatchable now. Please go back to explaining stuff well, and stop all the fluff.
I'm sorry you didn't find this one enjoyable. I appreciate the feedback. Sometimes I like to have quite a bit of fun with my videos. Sometimes, I do more educational stuff. If you look at my AstroSharp videos, there is quite a bit of "fluff" in a few of them, especially their intros.
@@deepskydetail I didn't watch it. I can't follow the very interesting mathematical explanations, because I'm being put off by the the unnecessary "entertainment". You had about the right mix until recently. Your AstroSharp videos were excellent. Tone down the "entertainment a bit, or stick it at the beginning and end, so it doesn't distract from the meat of the subject.
I appreciate the feedback. I'm a relatively new channel, and I'm going to be experimenting with different styles of videos like this one. I have been working on this video for over 4 months (from idea to editing), which is a good chunk of the entire life of this channel. I appreciate your patience.
That opening goes HARD!

I thought it was great too. Good stuff!

Thanks, Doug! You should go for it :) I'm sure you'll get a better image than I did!
Woaaaaw that’s a very good video friend. Thanks for all this info.
Thank you!
I don't know about that guy in the video, but stick figure guy is awesome..
Yeah that other guy is sketchy lol

I disagree. Good job being completely rude as well.
@@markalot ditto, if Michael wants to learn maybe he should pick up a book.
