The GT3 continues to prove that a great sounding car isn't about volume but dimensionality. You can hear exactly what the drivetrain is doing. Few cars have achieved this.
The sound of perfection. Nothing like a flat 6 engine hitting higher rpms.
I've got a '20 GT500 that I thought sounded fairly well rounded. No comparison - this GT3 sounds absolutely glorious! Here's to you Porsche, this cackling beast is an epic monster.

yes, many other cars may be faster down the straight, but none other will enter a corner, through a corner,, around a corner, and out a corner like this one.
for the price of course.
Even for a higher price cars can’t compete. Funny seeing a car with the engine in the wrong place with “only” 500 horsepower and no turbos beat all the others on the ring. Porsche. There is no substitute.
I’m so glad the didn’t turbo charge it it sounds epic I think we can all agree on that !

That GPF really muffles the engine despite the marketing people doing their best to amplify the sound for this “commercial.” The 991 GT3 sound is much much better. Sad times for enthusiasts.
same engine as the 991.2. just more downforce elements making it fast. very little increase hp and tq

I’m pretty sure the US doesn’t get particulate filters, and even if you don’t like it take it out

You are right, sadly these filters have killed the sound. Sound is a major factor for me when buying a car so I’ll stick to older cars! Removing the filters is extremely complex and will void warranty plus cause error codes. Even putting on an aftermarket exhaust won’t sound great due to the filters.
