I’m hoping this movie gives us the complete series on Blu-ray instead of just season 1 on DVD
I touch on it in the video. Disney owns the old TV series. The new movie is made by Universal. Disney took the series off streaming platforms and has made it impossible to see, presumably so as not to support their competition. Plus, Disney is out of the physical media game entirely. I don't think it's going to happen--but I'd love to be wrong.
@@CerealAtMidnight I definitely agree. I see Apple has season 1 available for purchase but I can’t just purchase season 1 but as you’ve said it’s not available anywhere else at the moment.
I like watching happy Heath. I'll check this film out this weekend
I like "Excited Heath" and "Unscripted Heath" :)
This guy is making movies fun again. Love this channel.
I saw it twice and enjoyed it both times! Can't wait until they put it out on physical sometime in July.
The Fall Guy tv series is now being shown on the Heroes & Icons channel
My wife and I watch this at the cinema, loved every second of it, going again at the weekend with our daughter we loved it that much.
Love the Fall Guy series. I've watched when i was a kid and it was a lot of fun. Nice to hear this movie is fresh and fun, which is how they should all be :)
Loving your movie reviews! Thank you!
I just discovered the show it’s based off of with 6 million dollar man
I saw the Beekeeper in theaters and it took me back to early '90's blow-everything-up movies. I'll check the Fall Guy out since you recommend it.
Hi Heath! I agree. I have so much fun watching it. It made me so happy for some reason. I felt love for movies and stunt oozing from the screen. For me movie quotes and references felt organic. Of course people who work in making movies would be speaking about movies. And I like that with those paricular characters all the crazy stuff that happend somehow made sense.
Everything you said. It was a lot of fun, a tad long, and doesn't feel much like the TV show, which I loved as a kid. I wanted to be a stuntman like Colt Seavers (and like Burt Reynolds as Hooper). One thing I would add: Stay all the way through the credits!
DEFINITELY stay through the credits!
I haven't seen the movie yet on was on the fence about the movie because I watched the tv show, but thank you for the review now I'm going to see it. Sad to hear about the show I have the first season on dvd, here hopefully Disney will let one of the other companies like arrow video or one of the other one's
In this film, They are remaking a 2d version of Metal Storm the capture of Jared sin.Funny
David Leitch is awesome filmmaker! The dude knows practical effects and stunt work can still have a place in this current CGI world!
The movie made me use the bathroom.
I will go see it tonight! Great review :)
First
It's great, Heath, that you're doing these little video reviews now. I find them to be helpful. I had been hearing good things about The Fall Guy, but your favorable opinion pushes me off the fence.
Your Alien review was also appreciated, which I've loved since it first premiered.
Thanks, David! I'm really making an effort to talk more about movies outside of physical media. I'll always be a film collector, but I want my channel to be about more than a format or a disc. I appreciate you watching and giving kind feedback, too.
Would be awesome if you could interview Lee Majors
Yes it would!
No offense, Mr. Holland, but episodes from the first two seasons of Lee Majors's TV series "The Fall Guy" are currently available for purchase via the TVOD services Apple TV, Fandango at Home (formerly known as VUDU), and Prime Video (Amazon).
At the time this video was recorded, that was not the case.
Who caught the Six Million Dollar Man sound effect Easter Egg? Fun stuff!
Na-na-na-na--na
I agree it fits today’s culture but I sure liked the show a lot better.
Much of the movie just didn’t work for me as bad as I wanted to like it.
Perfect example of what I didn’t like about the comedy was the villain producer lady sucking on her soda straw like a crack pipe through the whole movie. People in real life don’t act like that and her character was super annoying.
I think the producer character who "freebases Diet Coke" is probably a shot at a very powerful real-life producer. Some of these people really are cartoons in actual life.
I just saw it and I think Ryan Gosling will rise higher than Chris Pratt. Ryan Gosling is now the new star.
I agree. I think he could actually become the next Tom Cruise.
Pratt is a pos actor
