after 2 days of trial and error I can confirm a HUGE problem is the magnet! you need a strong magnet for sure. i got a pack of 4 from jeff bezos and when stacked I get a very defined heart. i also did use a thinner paperclip and I think it does the job as well! thank you for sharing girl it really helped I was starting to lose hope🙌

NOT GETTING IT! If it isn't on a magnet, it won't work. Putting it on a magnet, though, the magnet moves the polish before I can turn it into a heart. Is that because I have to have the correct magnet???????
You are AWESOME! Thank you SO much for the product links! I saw this go viral like a month ago and I turned my fingers RAW From fighting with paperclips and using different magnets to do it! The steel wire and the industrial magnets were exactly what I needed for a cleaner, more defined look.

It’s okay if the polish moves before the heart forms. Are you holding the wire and magnet over the nail long enough? Sometimes it takes a little time

First time I've ever seen this. I need guitar nails (right hand) and am wondering what other shapes are possible?

I actually don’t think any of them I used are 9D! I have each shade listed in the description, as well. This should work with any cat eye! 🥰
