The past few months I have been in such an art rut however your videos have got me into sketching daily again and I am slowly regaining my confidence when it comes to my abilities so for that I just wanted to sat thank you!!
I always love how you include your thought process because it's unique for everyone, like when you mentioned blue and white I thought of snowflakes while you went straight to water
Very expensive, but worth it if you can afford it. I've tried a few of their supplies (from family members and laughably cheap second hand stores), they're really good.
BTW that bubble wrap-zip lock bag thingy comes really handy if you're going to a concert because they check if you have certain objects and they can see it without opening the bag. (it's good for putting makeup or pens too so you that you can see what you need)

I've been waiting for this video. 🙌🙌🙌 I really liked the art supplies this month, because it was easy to get darks and lights in the colors, which looked nice since I only had 2 colors. I got a blue and pink in the 2 watercolors markers and a hot pink in the brush pen. I just liked the simple color palette with the lights and darks

I think what I've really come to love about your art is just how daring you are. Sure, you do minimal testing, but when it comes to really seeing what tools and mediums work together, you just go for it in the actual piece rather than in the planning phase. Your style coupled with the forward momentum of your action really make your pieces stand out. And of course, you learn as you go, so I really think your method aids in how you not only avoid mistakes in the future, but just see what works and doesn't work in general. Your art really reflects your personality, both in substance and form. Glad I have been able to call myself a subscriber for the last couple of years.

So you asked about how artists keep their work clean, so what i do is draw really light for most of the time that I’m drawing and then when I’m almost done sketching i go hard with pencil to make the lines pop. You probably wont see this but just trying to help.
The first thumbnail reminded me of "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" by Laini Taylor. It is a trilogy which I totally recommend if you are into fantasy, magic and romance.

Tip to anyone who has water based markers but want water colours: Get a clear plastic sheet from packaging or folders... scribble the pen onto the plastic and you can use the pure ink or add water to dilute it!!
