Im from greensburg, PA and when you said fourmile run I got excited because I Trout fish at the Fourmile run in Ligonear and Donegal lol. Trout fishing near that area is very popular near Fourmile run creek and Loyalhanna creek near Ligonear.
I agree. At this stage, my fishing knowledge was limited and I have learned to respect and care for these resources better (net, wet hands, keeping them in water, quick release, barbless hooks, ect.)
I looked it up after the fact and they definitely DO NOT stock Tiger Trout on Pine Creek so it was an natural anomaly from the tributary Four Mile Run (which has Native Brook and Wild Brown Trout). Thanks for watching!
love your videos and your excitement. This little stream reminds of the time my girlfriend and I were hiking up in the Hammersley Wild Area looking for the virgin forest area up there on the mountain. On the way back down the trail I noticed a small log across this very small little creek in the ravine. The log created a small damn and waterfall, creating an undercut. I told my girlfriend I bet there's brookies in there. She didn't believe me so I dug up a juicy white worm and tossed it into the pool near the waterfall and WAM..this little black shape came out, nailed the worm and back under cover in a split second.
Love the tigerTrout are you fishing in north central Pennsylvania because I’m north east and southeast and I like the ugly sticks broThat’s all I use too. Since u like small streams as well. You should check out the ultra light Japanese rods called Keyon tetton
Your motives in releasing your trout is great, but you are really stressing the fish by keeping them out of the water so long. If you are releasing fish, keep them in the water before unhooking and releasing them.
Early video. Tough to know what to say and when with GoPro on head AND fishing. Learning experience. Easy to criticize harder(ish) to do. Bonus points.
Thanks for the comment, glad you like the channel. About 6mo. after this video I get an Orvis net and never looked back. I was a genuine newbie to trout fishing at this point and didn't understand the need to wet hands, keeping trout in the water, nets, ect. Please check out some new vids, I've gotten better.
Tiger is a mix of a female brown trout egg that is fertilized by a male Brook trout. They are rare. You might not ever catch another one in your lifetime. That’s how rare they are. NICE!
Jesus, stop with the fish handling comments, he is enjoying himself, not like he is slamming them against trees, he is using barbless hooks and wetting his hands, annoying as hell...
He IS NOT using barbless hooks ... he is claiming to use barbless hooks while throwing Roostertails & Panther Martins with THE EXACT SAME BARBED TREBLE HOOKS that those same lures came with when they came out of their packaging ... big difference! He is just a blabbing bullshitter with a spinning rod hitting some small low pressure area trout waters with hardware. Barely 1 step above a worm, meal worm, salmon egg, power bait, Velveeta or salted minnie dunker! ;-) As far as his fish handling skills: he's like the Dr. Kevorkian of brook trout and native browns.
@@jamescawthern7593 dude u realize he wets his hands, with the spinners he uses barbless hooks, he smashes the barbs down with pliers to make them barbless
Get yourself a net man, the way your handling them isn’t safe for the fish.
We fly fish in Wisconsin without nets all the time. He is just keeping them out of water for way too long
It makes me cringe 😬
Whats up with the treble hook?
Looks great! I will have to check that out!

I bet you kill a lot of fish, very poor handling dude, way to much time out of water, you are to rough...

fishing new ground, love it.Did you see any rattlesnakes last year?I saw two in August.so scary.
Terrible fish handling ,shouldn't be allowed to carry a rod ,let alone use one!!!
Wow...wow...wow...wow... ... ...
Brownies are the Best fighting Trout!!
You need to handle these fish much better than you do. Walking around holding them by the line!!! Really!!! Get a net!!!
Or just put them back!! Jeez! This guy is a bafoon!
great video :)
Nice video but my goodness you don’t have to keep repeating your self. Nice, nice, Nice

Your fish handling sucks!
Its a hybrid of a female Brown and a male Brook. I caught one once. Cool looking fish, for sure.
Dude I love you're channel but get a net. Keep them in the water. You're killin me and trout

That fish is dead. Learn how to handle a fish. Holding a trout out of water for much more that 10 seconds can hurt them. That was like 10 minutes.
Bro I’m from pa hit me up I’m close to the poconos and my 13 year old son loves ur channel we like to join ya
damn dude…get a net and keep the fish in the water…wtf

What tool
LOL that trout isn’t close to 15”. Also carry a god damn net.

That tiger trout isn't wild, it's a stocker.
Kill the trout. You have no idea howvmuch damage you are doing by just holding him on the line out of water. Unreal. 50 plus UMS!
