What should be understood is each village has there own way of cooking seasoning etc etc. So.the same dish may be prepared different ways. I think it all looks yummy
What we learn, Mr. Rana's food appears to be on the blend side, Gul Sher's food is spicy and full of flair and personality like him, Dr Tahir has amazingly decerning taste buds and yet again Mr. Chaudhary has the superior cooking skills. to the producers I ask again when will we humble viewers get the privilege of tasting Mr. Chaudhary's food?. please post a recipe.
Loved this video! Based on everyone’s description, I think Gul Sher should have won! 😁 Also, may I suggest you post a video of reactions to each other’s comments about the food? For example, I would love to see Tahir react to Rana’s comments about his rice, and vice versa. In fact, let them watch the video footage of eating each other’s dishes. Keep up the good work. Your translation is still below par, but keep working at it. Your non-Punjabi friends deserve to understand exactly what these gentlemen are saying, not just an approximation and/or abbreviation.
I see how happy and wonderful all these people are makes me wonder if all the technology we have actually makes is helping us they all have beautiful energy
Here's a suggestion: Why don't you guys put the recipes into the description or how you get some of the foods so we can try to make at home. Always love the videos though.
Loving these cooking episodes. It would be amazing if u could give the winnera recipe/ingredients so we could aplntey to make this their way in our own homes 🙂
I just want to say I love the lilt of the language they speak. Every time they say "mixid" for the English word "mixed" I smile. Edit* I also want to add that I can tell Gul Sher and Rana seem to have become brothers in arms. Same with the Dr. and Raffique 🙂
What a great video! Very fun. I like how polite everyone was. I would watch a video of them each preparing their dish in studio or if they were comfortable it would be even more exciting to see them cooking the dish at home. Thank you for making and sharing.

There is one thing for sure you can say after watching the videos of cooking their own dishes for a taste test. They are certainly not monolithic in their opinions on taste and how each thinks a “traditional” dish must cooked.
I have never met a dal I didn't like. I wish I could taste their dishes and get their opinions on my own cooking. I think my palette is so wimpy when it comes to spices that my dal would be lucky to rate a two from Mr. Rana for being bland. He's a very tough food critic! I'm enjoying these cook-offs. It's so much fun to watch their reactions. I couldn't stop laughing when they were guessing on who made the dish they were eating. Dr. Tahir is a very good guesser. I'd love to see a video of him cooking for people in the village some day, so that we could get an idea of how we might be able to help him with that worthy effort. Maybe we can end hunger in one village.
I love these "food rating" videos very much! First because those of us who are unfamiliar with their traditional dishes ..get to see and experience the critiques of the different cooking styles they love! And second they give their input as to what makes them great to their tastes ..I had no doubt about who would win....Mr Chaudhary must be an excellent chef! I wish I had enough money to be able to buy him a beautiful new stove with an oven!
I would be interested in making the rice dish they speak of. Will they write down and share their recipes in English. So those of us that want to try it can?
The rice is just normal steamed/boiled rice. The sauce is called Dal, very common throughout the Indian subcontinent, you can find many recipes and videos about it, so you can easily make the dish without waiting for their specific recipe, which they might now give. After all it's like a tomato sauce in that region of the world, everyone has their own way of doing it following a few basic ingredients and principles.
ruclips.net/video/vra6CfTfEks/видео.html you cam try this recipe. *Shami Kabab* is an add one, having this in your plate will satisfy your taste buds more however it is completely optional. I hope you enjoy your meal. :)
I'm not familiar with this dishy, but the Dal is apparently a curried lentil sauce, with tomatoes and green chilis and onions - red lentils seem to be a primary ingredient. If you don't have any of the traditional spices and herbs available, they're basically the sort of thing sold mixed together in ordinary US grocery stores as curry powder and garam masala, and garlic and ginger also seem to be part of the flavor. It sounds like one of the versions in the video had shredded chicken mixed in as well, which sounds to me like a fantastic addition to me. I think chickpeas were mentioned a couple times as well - I've cooked before dried green lentils together with canned chickpeas and onions in a wok, seasoned with curry powder and garam masala, ladled onto rice, and that really is delicious, and I'm sure chickpeas would go just as well with the other ingredients, but they don't seem to e strictly needed. I take it from the video that the taste profile should be relatively subtle and mild, but I like the spices, and the curried lentil and chickpea sauce I invented before got a lot of heat from the garam masala, so I loved it, but I guess it depends on one's taste! Whatever the case, it seems to be a pretty easy sauce to make, and one that really lends itself well to some individuality and invention.
Tahir is so gracious with his scores! Rana seems so stingy lol... Unlike how things seem in other videos, where he seems really jolly! Anyways great work guys! Love the videos.
It's amazing that they plan their eating habits around the weather. Here in Canada we don't really. Well maybe some hot chocolate when you're cold but I eat anything at anytime of any season. I think it's cool that they do this.
Recipe please. It sounds delicious! Would love to try the dish. It seems like Chaudhary is the Gordon Ramsey of the group lol (no expletive words though , he's such a gentle person).
I would love to see a video where we get to visit their village if they are comfortable with showing us it on RUclips. Must be such a friendly place :)
This is classic winter comfort food. Plain white boiled rice and delicious creamy lentils very tasty and wholesome and healthy and filling and I'm going to make this today
Just Love Love All your videos these ones are my favorite if you run out of things for them to cook I think they should be giving recipes next and try to cook these things on their own and taste them 🤗💞 thank you Mr producer keep up the good work 😎🤗💞
Chickpeas I like. But I haven't tried the black cumin yet that I ordered. What I read is they get kind of a nut-like taste if toasted which would enhance the faint nut-like taste of the way I cook chickpeas.

Loved this video! Based on everyone’s description, I think Gul Sher should have won! 😁
Also, may I suggest you post a video of reactions to each other’s comments about the food? For example, I would love to see Tahir react to Rana’s comments about his rice, and vice versa. In fact, let them watch the video footage of eating each other’s dishes.
Keep up the good work. Your translation is still below par, but keep working at it. Your non-Punjabi friends deserve to understand exactly what these gentlemen are saying, not just an approximation and/or abbreviation.
I LOVE these cooking competitions. More please. Also share recepies
i love the idea of them trying each others best cooking of a dish.. great job!
Ultimate comfort food! I'm surprised chicken was added. I love these videos. There is some great good natured competition
You should post the winners recipes in these challenges, I would love to try traditional authentic Pakistani curries
This was a delightful video. I like when everyone is respectful of each other.
🙆🏻♀️ These lovely gentlemen can cook for me anytime!
I see how happy and wonderful all these people are makes me wonder if all the technology we have actually makes is helping us they all have beautiful energy
Here's a suggestion:
Why don't you guys put the recipes into the description or how you get some of the foods so we can try to make at home.
Always love the videos though.
If you have a South Asian grocer you can get a big sack of basmati rice, every type of lentils and spices, etc that you would need.
@@baronesselsavonfreytag-lor1134 And yet they all four made different tasting dishes
I love Chauncey Raffe. I want to send him a care package of spices, bread crumbs, sharp knives, top of the line pots and pans. I think he enjoys cooking.
Please tell the good Dr I would never refuse to share a meal with him. Its so sweet he always offers and I really want a taste of whatever they have. These guys have no idea how funny they are x
Watching it while eating dhaal chawal what a cheerful video it is as usual 😋☺️
I must say that I do enjoy Tahir playfully inviting the crew/audience to eat with him before each dish.
I hope one day to have the privilege of accepting his offer and sharing a meal in person with him.
A translator would be necessary, but I hope he would tolerate it to honor me with his company 😀
All the blessings in the world to these men, and to all at this channel for introducing them to us
The episode we’ve all been waiting for. It did not disappoint. Loved hearing the guys praise each other’s efforts and to hear how they prepare the dish. ⭐️
I love that Gul Sher says he won't complain about food, because it is a gift from God. My grandmother would adore him! So well-mannered!
Funny Tahir and Rana both guessing each others plate.... then both saying the other's wasn't seasoned enough. lol
I love that my brothers and sisters experience new foods bc we in the west ancestor’s travel from far it is such a joy to enjoy new and delicious meals
I love how he says “it can be made instantly within an hour…”
We’ve really lost the art of cooking in America.
This channel is certainly doing its part to bring people of all races and countries together we are loving this❤
AWESOME!!!!!!!!! A COOK OFF!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Tahir is back!!! Yess!!! Im so glad!!! Love his personality! Now I have to watch all videos you posted recently to see him 😊
So, I cant grow rice here very easily, but they lintels I can do. A new item for this years garden.
And trust me my dear Dr, I would love to eat with you all
Cook the daal and eat it with bread, just as delicious!
something to be learned by the kindness and praise as oppose of self promotion and down talking others ..im not sure how to spell my feeling but please be kind ..to you gentlemens behavior i say ,"hiya hiya hiya" i know thats what yall say at the best stuff ..from Florida we love your positive love
Would love to see a video of Mr. Chaudary and the Dr. cooking together in their village!
Dr Sahab : "tussi khaoge" ......... iconic!!!!! love this guy!
Wonderful video as always! I had made some Daal Rice last night, Im sure I missed some spices, but it was delicious!
Chaudhary Raffique is my age but he reminds me so much of my father. A good, kind man with a loveable manner.
I always find it amazing how one dish can be made so many different ways. Awesome 👍🏻
Someone gave a good recipe at the beginning of the comments
@@pietrayday9915 There are chickpea dishes but this can be made with yellow lentils or red.
Tahir is so gracious with his scores! Rana seems so stingy lol... Unlike how things seem in other videos, where he seems really jolly! Anyways great work guys! Love the videos.
That was FUN! It’s like watching Italians try each other’s sauce🤣 They are the sweetest!
These 4 gentlemen are my favorites, especially Mr. Nawab and his fine sense of humor. I keep all of them and their families in my prayers.
These guys are all such good sports with each other and they seem to love trying anything.
It's amazing that they plan their eating habits around the weather. Here in Canada we don't really. Well maybe some hot chocolate when you're cold but I eat anything at anytime of any season. I think it's cool that they do this.
I love how Dr. Tahir is always offering his food to others first very kind ♥️
Recipe please. It sounds delicious! Would love to try the dish. It seems like Chaudhary is the Gordon Ramsey of the group lol (no expletive words though , he's such a gentle person).
I love these episodes! So wonderful to see the difference between the same dish.
Brings me back to working for a wonderful Iraqi family. Their lentil soup still makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
Thank you, this content is fantastic!
I love how detailed all these men are with their asessments of the food.🥙🍚🍗🍴
Daal chawal is so simple but can be so flavorful and delicious. Can never go wrong 😊
I would love to see the Tribal Women do the same, try each other's cooking.
Good idea
I'm so hungry right now and this is not helping!! 🤦♀️😄
These are great! Thanks for all your hard work.
I have just found this series of cook off videos, excellent!
I would love to see a video where we get to visit their village if they are comfortable with showing us it on RUclips. Must be such a friendly place :)
What a great video! Our family had lentils & rice for dinner tonight, too. ☺️
This is classic winter comfort food. Plain white boiled rice and delicious creamy lentils very tasty and wholesome and healthy and filling and I'm going to make this today
Just Love Love All your videos these ones are my favorite if you run out of things for them to cook I think they should be giving recipes next and try to cook these things on their own and taste them 🤗💞 thank you Mr producer keep up the good work 😎🤗💞
That looks so freaking good I love lentils, chickpeas, chicken, rice, curry... wow my mouth is watering
Now this is a healthy dish! Congrats Chauhdary! Doesn't seems to be the tastier, but very good to health, loved it
These cooking episodes are the best
They need to try the Korean S&B Golden Curry with rice.
Chickpeas I like. But I haven't tried the black cumin yet that I ordered. What I read is they get kind of a nut-like taste if toasted which would enhance the faint nut-like taste of the way I cook chickpeas.
You would probably love kala chana (black chickpeas). It's not on most restaurant menus but tastes amazing.
