Building a Trailer Hitch Bike Rack

- In this video I am fabricating a bike rack for a trailer hitch. This Rack is unique in the fact that it stores the bikes vertically, with the wheels facing outwards. The rack has the ability to fold down (best down when not under load) to make access to the back hatch of the vehicle easier. This rack is capable of holding four full size mountain bikes with no struggles. Welded & fabricated in Redding California, this rack has already proven itself on multiple trips, logging hundreds of hours, across multiple state lines, all with a rear wheel clearance high enough to let the mind ease while navigating all those unfamiliar terrains.

Thinking about building something like this as well. Do you think rebar might be an option for the wheel hangers ? Thinking of having the wheels facing the vehicle
Oh yea rebar would work well for that. The knurls of the bar might even help lock a tire in place
