As someone working for years in Cinema 4D (which is already one of more user friendly pieces of software on the market) I cannot believe how fun and easy it is to setup scenes and renders in Lumion. It's like playing video game all day and getting paid for it! Sure it has some limitations, but nothing I cannot tweak in post using Photoshop or DaVinci Resolve. It may sound a bit pretentious, but if there's something that could be called a "life changing software" it must be Lumion in my case.
Things that i learnt from this tut: 1. Adjusting sun amount in the shadows while using real skies and that the sun layer needs to be on top of the real skies in the effects stack. 2. Movement of any objects along the axis by clicking x or y or z. In here u explained while moving the interior lights to be copied around in the room. 3. Spot lights can be grouped with cars for evening animations. This i really liked. Really liked collecting the above tips from this tut. Was wanting to see the photo match effect. But i guess u couldn't cover that as i believe u used the trial version. Thanks again.
Oh I covered the photo match effect in a separate video😊 I'm using the full pro version. Here's the video ruclips.net/video/HhldmgWVdTQ/видео.html I hope that helps!

I'm a mechanical engineer, trying my hand in architecture and Lumion renderings just for the fun of it. And your videos have been so helpful! Thank you so much! NOTE: Please use Fine detail nature only if it's absolutely necessary. Don't use it for the backgrounds. Use one or two at most, and don't use a dozen of them. Use it if you're doing an animation where it's in the foreground and you're doing a depth of field effect and focusing from the leaves in the foreground to your house in the background. Don't randomly place dozens of them all around your house to make the background look good. I made this mistake, and my rendering time went from 4 hours to 20 hours! Yes, it takes 5 times the time and resources to render after I placed almost 20 fine detail trees and plants around my house to make the animation look more realistic.
