Good video, just sucks that these victory screens kinda terrible imo… And there’s a reason for this. They show a single victory against a single faction and just the immediate aftermath of that one battle. I don’t feel like a giant empire just came in and took over the world, I think a group of guys sprung an ambush and won a potentially major engagement but not the war. It just feels weird. The Roman victory does seem pretty alright, but I mean the game is literally named after them so they should have a fire victory scene. They should’ve had a battle that occurs against barbarians, then cut mid battle to a Hellenistic engagement. Next it cuts to a victory over egypt and eastern factions, finally returning to Rome during a triumph celebration with the faction leader with their face painted red. This would symbolize a glorious faction that has prevailed in all theaters of war, rather than just against the barbarians that they did win.
In Medieval 2 the victory screens would all be the same with a few minor alterations. But they acknowledged your accomplishments. In the English campaign the pope would crown you as High King of England and the English empire and supreme protector of Christendom. The narrating monk would reference the greatness of your monarch and the glory of your empire. These are just random battles with stupid grunting and no dialogue. Just lazy on the part of CA.
In M2 only the first five factions (England, France, Spain, HRE, Venice) get specific acknowledgements. All other factions get generic cinematics. Yes, even the Romans (Byzantine). They get exactly the same victory cinematics as the Moors, the Turks or the Scots.
@@90RushAnd they're still better than Rome 2's cinematics because it wasn't just random battles that didn't reference your faction leader or your achievements.
As cool as Rome is, I always like the Barbarians and Desert factions in these games. Idk, I guess it's something about cheering for the underdog by creating an empire from a country not as powerful as Rome :/
Hey quick question I’m new at this and how do you get the victory scene? Like do you have to destroy or make other factions as your puppet state or you have to do the all the objectives?? It will be helpful thank you. :)
@@onshiftgaming its very bruh.İ have a really good idea.İ think its would be better if carthage has the roman ending with punic soldiers.i think it would explain the greatest effect of punic wars
@@rory6860 It's difficult to really know because Rome destroyed them thoroughly. However, Carthaginians were expert traders and they were trading eveywhere. It is highly likely that they have adopted certain aspects of the Hellenistic Culture, which I would like to think the reason for their ending.
Also anyone who is supposed to fight rome just fights italic rebels... lazy trash CA You would think all the effort being put in cutscenes and not gameplay would pan out. Guess npt

Destroy or make them your puppet states
You need to reach at least one of the ultimate victory conditions.
Roma Invicta !

Carthage is also a Hellenistic Kingdom in Rome 2
Carthage isn't a hellinstic kingdom
Yes, they aren't. I mean they have given Carthage Faction the Hellenistic Kingdoms victory cutscene in Rome 2.
