I grew up in Orlando literally a couple blocks off South O.B.T and saw a lot of this in real life. That was in the 80s. I wish they would've preserved the old signs and stuff like you talked about.

Thanks for making this. The Florida Project was such an interesting little film. I enjoyed it, but it’s not the typical happy movie. I always wanted to visit some of these locations, but I never have time when I’m in the area. Thanks for sharing

My wife and I watched The Florida Project last night because of your post. I also enjoyed the one you did on Arabian Nights. We went to it back in 2006 or 2007 and I have a few pictures from inside.

Micah, do you have any idea where they were watching the fireworks from in the film? I am guessing it was somewhere of of Reams Rd north of the Magic Kingdom, but I have been unable to find out exactly.
I think it was coincidental! Sean Baker jumped at the opportunity to film and told Brooklynn and Valaria to just talk about rainbows that was unscripted.
