Learning a lot from you. Thanks for your presentations. I'm a software developer, but I find economics fascinating (to a point). We do need a more participatory economy! Economics is hard because it is so elemental to human nature, blending politics, people's needs, and more. Add the digital economy and crypto and blockchain etc... Gets tricky fast! We need the best people and best ideas.

Semantics, but Web3.0 is the cathedral and Web3 is the bazaar. Great explanation!

Thank you for discussing this because I’m trying to wrap my head about how to use the digital economy.

well if we put aside the fact you ignored the modern incarnation of police is in fact a military force that picks and chooses which neighborhoods to protect, you also completely left out the kickstarter/go-fund-me models can easily and directly be applied to public goods, where you simply put all the things congress votes for on their own kickstarter pages and citizens have to pay a certain amount into the gov't kickstarters to cover how ever much taxes they owe, but the citizen gets to choose the allocation of every one of their dollars and can freely add to their contribution above the minimum of taxes owed. any other model is to perpetuate the treatment of the populace as tax livestock into web 3.0.

Technically the fireworks and digital content would be rival. There are only so many places around the fireworks where people can stand before someone can no longer enjoy them. Digital content can also run out of bandwidth.

Also, movie theaters are rival goods, as there is only so much space inside a movie theater (only a finite number of seats, and they might not allow standing people). In those other cases, the limit is so high that it is hard to reach it.
