I expected that Dr Salimullah sir would be one of the advisers, which was not materialized, now I find that it’s not bad, he should always deliver lectures, his duty is to make the people knowledgeable, we need to learn from learned person, the gentleman should be given monthly handsome remuneration for his extraordinary lectures from the government. We owe to him.
He's the Aristotle of Bangladesh
Bigger than president of this nation
Because of his conciseness of the people of this land.
A living relic of our time for our nation.

প্রথমে অনেক মনো ক্ষুন্ন হয়েছিলাম এই ভেবে যে স্যার কে কোনো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদ দেওয়া হলো না। এখন মনে হচ্ছে তিনি বড় পদ পেলে এত সুন্দর লেকচার শুনতে পেতাম না। ধর্মীয় বিষয়ে একটু সাবধানতার সহিত শব্দ চয়ন করলে আরো খুশি হবো স্যার
সলিমুল্লাহ সত্য কথা বলতে ভয় পান না, এজন্য ক্ষমতাসীনদের সকলেই তাঁকে ভয় পায়। তাই পদ দেয়া হয় নি।পদ পেলে বক্তব্য শুনতে পেতেন না, এটা খুঁড়ো যুক্তি।

দীনেশচন্দ্র সেনের ১৩৪১ বঙ্গাব্দে প্রকাশিত "বৃহৎ বঙ্গ" গ্রন্থে তিনি মোহাম্মদ এনামুল হকের অনেক গবেষণার বিষয়ে উল্লেখ করেছেন ও তা থেকে অনেক তথ্যও গ্রহণ করেছেন। যদিও তাঁর এই প্রিয়ছাত্রের নামের বানান লিখেছেন "এনামেল হক"।
১৯৪৭ সালের আগে স্বাধীনতা আন্দোলনে বাঙালি মুসলিম ধর্মাবলম্বী জনগণের ভূমিকা সম্পর্কে জানতে চায়।
বর্তমান পৃথিবীতে যে চার সাড়ে চার হাজার ধর্মবিশ্বাস চালু রয়েছে তা নিয়ে একটি আলোচনা শুনতে চাই। এতে স্যারের ভক্তরা উপকৃত হবে।

সুন্দর বক্তব্য
আমার কাছে দেশভগের সময়ের লেখা একটা বই আছে কোলকাতার এক ভদ্রলোকের লেখা যার নাম হোল- " বঙ্গে পৃথক হিন্দু রাষ্ট্র চাই"। অখণ্ড বাংলার স্হলে পুর্বপাকিস্তান পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মূলরূপকার আসলে হিন্দু ভদ্রলোকগণ ছিলেন।
মুসলিম শাসনামলে বাঙালি মুসলমানের অর্থনৈতিক অবস্থা কেমন ছিল জানতে চায়।

Elsewhere, Dr Salimullah Khan mentioned Classical/original nature of Bengali Prakrit, like lokkhi-laxshmi, drupadi-durpad etc., as indicating which is original/classical and which isn't. Here he simply mention Gaur culture but doesn't provide any history, probably because there isn't any. Dr Salimullah doesn't mention that recently Indian parliament recognized 23 languages of 29 states as 'drupadi' meaning 'original', so Hindi and Sanskrit both says 'kshetra' instead of 'khetra as in Kurukshetra instead of Kurukhetra indicating Bengali as classical, while Hindi and Sanskrit evolved later like Pali. But Dr Salimullah should have provided the history of the Gaur culture as the root that formulated the Indian Prakrit languages.
As for the languages of Indian Prakrit, Vishnu Purana is the best guide, which records the Kurukshetra war (1500-1200 bc) in which the Kuru (Turks, from central Asia, led by the Babylonians) destroyed the imperial Yadava and replaced Sanatan religion with Semitic Hinduism (ULU culture) with Ram (Ramses II) as god replacing Vishnu. This was the origin of the Hindi language which came long after the Gaur culture of Bengali language, recently recognized by Indian parliament as 'dhrupadi- original language. In 1947 Indian Congress party declared Bengali people as outsiders. Dr Salimullah as a student of history should have known all the above. Bengali people are also the custodian of the Sanatan religion, preached by Krishna: DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU EXPECT OTHERSTO DO UNTO YOU, recorded in the Mahabharata.

Prof. Khan made some glaring mistakes:
1. Gandhi supported british war efforts, but he actively collected soldiers for british army, ---- that doesn't have any historical basis.
2. The coalition effort between congress and fazlul haq did not materialize, not because congress refused to form govt with muslims, but because of their priorities on agenda. Congress wanted the release of all political prisoners as first agenda, and improvement of the situation of peasants (hindus and muslims, with muslim peasants majority) as second, while Haq (Krishak Praja Party) wanted otherwise. Though it is correct that that was a historical blunder on Congress's part, leading to muslim league getting ground and resulting in bengal partition.
3. Jinnah didn't want Partition and Partition was imposed on him by congress. That is wrong. Who initiated "two nation theory" and separate homeland for muslims?
Both jinnah and congress under Nehru were not happy with cabinet mission plan. Jinnah wanted Partition and Nehru wanted more power at the center. Jinnah initially accepted as a political ploy. But the moment Nehru in a interview asserted to review it in future, Jinnah backed out and went to his original demand. Prof. Khan did not say that Nehru afterwards met Jinnah as many as 17 times by acknowledging his mistake and for reconciliation, but Jinnah did not budge.
4. As for bengal partition, Jinnah accepted independent, sovereign and united bengal (separate from india) as muslims were in majority. In fact, he wanted the whole of bengal in pakistan. But, after the direct action day, Calcutta riots, noakhali riots, communal nature of the reign of swarawardy, majority bengali hindus (including communists) were highly skeptical of their motives. Their fear is testified by the migration of religious minorities from bangladesh and seek shelter in india as refugees.
If their idea, was so noble, why muslim league didn't join undivided india as a whole province? Muslims would have been majority anyway, and control the politics!!
So, most bengali hindus in 1947 accepted bengal partition, not as a choice, but under pressure and fear of safety.
