Wtf there will always be a need for other ranger groups. Just because they will become the most powerful doesn’t mean they can be everywhere. That’s where all the other rangers come in.
I have too say, I want the "fairytale" to be the true Zeo Crystal origins. Let's face it, there are numerous tales from around the world that are true, but are told in a way people don't understand because those living ar the time, could not fully comprehend what was happening. All they knew was danger, and they told stories, that got passed on to their children, of that danger in the best way they could at the time.
I am a Christian, there has been scientific evidence of stories from around the world, that sound crazy, but are just the translations of ones mind at the time (for example: Wales battling the thunderous skies; Flash floods from storms or Floods do to Earthquakes, and animals raining from the heavens; Tornadoes and Twisters picking up animals and moving them). Then there was Noah's ark, where people 100 years ago believed that a world wide flood couldn't happen, turns out it happened at least 3 times.
My head canon was that scientists from M35 developed the Zeo Crystal as a purely technological way to access the Morphin Grid rather than the Demi-magickal/shamanic methods used previously.
The Zeo crystal is certainly powerful for it's properties. Even split among 5 Rangers. It's probably the only way it's power can really be handled too, splitting it so it's powers are spread out thin enough for a body to handle. I wonder if there's ever going to be a part where there's a ranger who can handle a whole section of the grid themselves.
If the Zeo Crystal is an energy source with its power growing over time, yes is possible. But many theorized that could be very dangerous and maybe that's why the rangers stop using it, their human bodies could't withstand so much power like Jason's case with the Zeo Gold powers what wasn't meant to human physiology.
My only problem with the origin of the Zeo Crystal is that they made the Eltarian known as Zophram turn out to be Lord Zedd. In the finale of the Power Rangers in Space, Andros destroyed Zordon's containment tube and it released a wave that transformed both Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa into humans. So, either the energy from Zordon's tube completely changed Lord Zedd, or someone didn't pay attention to the established Ranger lore.
Found out about this lore with Power Rangers Battle for the Grid, couple of months ago. As a fan of fighting games myself, I started this habit of making rosters for games I would like to see coming true (Marvel vs Capcom 4, SNK vs Capcom 3, for example) so I was thinking how many DLC characters could fit in BftG's future dlc seasons, which led me to do some research into previous and current seasons (found out about Hyperforce! COOL!) and, of course the comics, which are amazing! Now I find myself watching your videos everyday just so I could make better lists or think about different ranger combinations for future comic adventures like the BEYOND THE GRID team. Just wanted to say "Nice work" ;)
I just wish Zords were playable on BftG. I would love an action adventure game at some point too, preferably with multiple ranger teams and era's in it, but most importantly control over Zords not just Megazords.
@@zakkmylde1712 I guess Black Dragon could be playable, at best. Ninjor would be a good choice as well. But I really like the fact that the megazords are used as a comeback mechanic in game. That was a really good idea. But which zord would you specifically like to play?
@@RafaelFMFerreira I would love to play as the Preda Zord from Wildforce and the original White Tiger Zord, they are tied for my favorite. I would love to have almost all the Zords but if I had to pick it would be one of those two.
We also have to consider the fact that an entire planet of Zeo Crystal is located in the sub-universe that the Morphin Masters sealed off. My personal headcanon is that that planet is where this ancient battle took place, that the energy released when Vitara was slain was so immense that it converted an entire world into Zeo Crystal. This makes sense, as there were already crystal shards on the battlefield where the fight took place. While these *could* have been some kind of naturally occurring crystals, I think it far more reasonable that they were special somehow -- perhaps growing in the monster's lair as a result of the energy it had absorbed. All in all, I think we're building up piece-by-piece for a full explanation of how The Grid came to be, and I suspect Zeo Crystal is foundational in that tale.
I would argue that the original Gold Ranger isn't using a zeo crystal but tapping into the same energy the zeo crystals are. This is why Pyramdis gives off the same energy signal.
@@jasonsumma1530 The Gold Ranger seems to get his powers directly from the Golden Power Staff, so I like to think that the Zeo Crystal was used to infuse the staff with its own energy that is equal to the power of a Zeo sub-crystal. Perhaps some Triforian alien tech also factors into it?
My fave was Rita and Zedd,Rio,Scorpina,Mr Vile, also the clog era was messed up but I looked Loki’s by Rita’s creation and I Love Astronema both bad and good
Well the other Zeo Crystals was that planet full of them in the Solar Rangers universe. The Morphin Masters sealed that universe cutting it from the Morphin Grid. In PR 2017 Zeo Crystals jump start life to emerge on planets like Earth. The Power Rangers were a legion to protect life thus the Zeo Crystal away from evil hands.
I always wanted that about the Zeo powers. They were never destroyed, the rangers just upgraded to and never really mentioned Zeo again until forever red.
I wish we got a further exploration of the Gold Zeo Ranger, the origin of his powers, and the Super Zeo Gems. I'd like to think that at some point in its existence, the Zeo Crystal had been on Triforia and was used to imbue the Golden Power Staff with its energy. Perhaps the Super Zeo Gems were pieces of the Zeo Crystal that had broken off and then polished into gems? I imagine that Pyramidas and the Super Zeo Zords were subsequently constructed and powered using the Golden Power Staff and Super Zeo Gems respectively. I feel like there's a lot of story to be told there.
My thought always was that the Triforian race were the creators of the zeo crystal as I believe their planet was in the M51 galaxy. They created 6 sub crystals, one was separated from the other 5 and placed in the gold staff. It would explain why Tre had the super zeo gems with him. It was also believed the reason why the other crystals had not effected the others as unlike the 6th crystal had not fused with Tre's physiology. There was a belief though that the other crystals were also not stable long term and could also damage the life of the other rangers. Hence the Turbo powers.
If the crystal or subcrystal Jason had was more powerful than the others then it's possible to suggest that the other rangers saw what nearly happened to Jason and decided it was necessary to create a stabilized version of the Zeo powers, thus leading into Turbo. It's a fan theory but at least the Zeo powers nearly killing Jason at least provide a through line for explaining why the shift to Turbo was necessary from a story perspective. The Turbo powers are just a stabilized version of the Zeo powers the rangers made
I’m sad I’m super behind on the Boom Studio comics 😭 around July/August I got really busy and had no money so I haven’t been able to read anything since
The same Boom Studios comics also brings up a planetoid made of crystals seemingly identical to the Zeo Crystal in another dimension severed from the Morphin' Grid, and the then present team of Solar Rangers (Ellarien, Andros, Heckyl, Cam Watanabe, Mike Corbett, Tanya Sloan, and the Ranger Slayer) had used their Megazord and the planetoid itself as conduits between the universe they were in and the Morphin'Grid itself to connect the universe they were in back to the Morphin' Grid. Perhaps the crystal that Zeon used to slay Vitara could have come from either the same planet or at least the main Power Rangers universe's counterpart to said planet?
I don’t know why, but I feel like that warrior from Zordon’s story is going to be either Tommy or Jason flung back to the origin of life and using the available resources to make armor similar to what he had as a modern ranger!
😕 I wonder what happened to the zeo crystal after the rangers switched from zeo to turbo and where did it go when the command center was destroyed by divatox?
The narrative of the fairy tale is far more interesting so I am going to roll with it, but the "its a crystalized shard of the morphing grid" makes more sense from a logical point of view.
People always ask--what happened to the Zeo crystal. Obvious if you think about it. Zordon is a power addict. He'd probably turned it to powder and snorted it (if he had nostrils) Was it the first movie where he lay on a bed of crystals?
I think that if it's not part of the same Zeo crystals that is from the planet or from some other story but that's a good way to be if not it could be at what they call to see your Crystal which has Zeo crystal energy but was not actually a Zeo Crystal from the Zeo Crystal planet which is the strongest source of the morphing grid that isn't part of the morphine grade exactly
Ever thought about the spiritual/esoteric meaning behind the programming of power rangers? the Archetypes, the elements, spirit animals, chakra like relations to their colours, Godhead(Zordon, Gosei/Masterhead), Satanic figures (Fuhrer Hell Saturn, Dai-Satan, Octomus, Ivan Ooze, etc) and the “morphin grid” as a metaphor for the magical aether all “super humans” derive their power(s) from, with the zeo crystals and other crystals acting as a way to channel the energy to the rangers. Something to think about, i believe most colour coded super hero teams with 5+ people along with anything to do with “Chaos” energy, infinite energy or Life force has an agenda/motive to teach children not just good morals, but how to become their highest selves as apostles of the godhead which is represented by their “mentor”. Anima is referred to as a god, Zordon is technically a god, so the whole show is not just Toys and zords as many have come to understand, but still many don’t know it’s true deeper meaning, which comes from its Japanese origins. (Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan is all about solar energy, christ figures, to beat the machine empire which are the globalist tyrannical group of the show based on the nazis, run by Father of Hell Saturn (powerrangers.fandom.com/wiki/Führer_Hell_Saturn) who worships the black sun god (wiki words not mine powerrangers.fandom.com/wiki/The_Omnipotent_God), who looks like exactly like darth Vader + a third eye, another portrayal of the fallen chosen one Chronos. And if you look up Black Sun logo, it looks like the logo for the First Order and the Galactic Republic, and there’s even a group called the black sun in the star wars lore.) And not to get too conspiracy theorist but Fuhrer hell saturns base resides in the north pole, where the Nazis supposedly fled to at the end of the war to, do something at the pole. I’ll let you go down that rabbit hole, but cheers m8.
I'm going to assume because he already Tommy Oliver had already fought two of the Rangers mighty Morphin green and white then he probably figured out that it was possible for the zeo red to be there too so therefore he didn't really question them
I'm pretty sure that space just means distance between locations rather than space in this case. they were sent to different parts of the world after all.
u know the comic book is not cannon for the tv show so this does not matter to the tv storyline of the zeo rangers at all or why they lost those powers
You're completely missing the point. He never said or implied that the comics gave the definitive answers to the questions left unresolved in the show. Everyone knows they take place in separate continuities. The point he's making is simply that, if a particular element from the comics doesn't contradict the lore of the show, it's acceptable to incorporate it in your headcanon. That's it. Just because most of the events of the comics aren't canon doesn't mean there aren't some elements that can fill the gaps of the show. At least they give you an answer, whether you agree with it or not. Given that we know next to nothing about the ancient history of Zordon, his allies, his enemies, and power sources, most of what was told in the comics can be taken as true because it doesn't contradict the show. But he never said it was indisputably canon.
@@CouncilCape897 i get your point and to me the comics and the tv show are 2 different things that don't have anything to do one another when it comes to being cannon on the tv show and the comics are fun and interesting to read for sure
Didn't they say in beyond the grid that they found an entire planet made of a material that matched the zeo crystal and theorized that it could be where the crystal came from? And that planet was hidden in a dead pocket dimension cut off from the grid to prevent it falling in the wrong hands?
Why we SG-1 never able to access the morphing grid with their crystals? Surely you can see the resemblance between the "zero point modules" and the "zeo crystal".
I always thought this the most common way the power of the morphing grid naturally manafested was in crystal form , the zeo crystal, the dino thunder gems, the wild force crystal (probably made with magic), and that i can manifest as a highly charged liquid as morphex if prossesed correctly with the energems, and nexus prism they were fasioned by the morphing masters to be be seeds for ranger teams and to serve as a monitering device for the prisms case. As for why tommy being able to tap into every one of his ranger forms my thought was this when you become a ranger you leave a personal mark on the type of colored ranger and team like tommy had a mark on mighty morphin white and green so he could tap into it with a mighty morpher but with the master morpher it's like a skeleton key to all his forms he has a mark on does that make sense??
I understand the creating of lore from the series in retrospect of the tv show; but the jumbling of current and past lore is what happens when a brand acquires a standing series that has standing continuity, only to make a mess and leave much unexplained. The Super Sentai series can be corny at times, but much of what is questionable in the US version is throughly covered in the Japanese version. Tbh, the story of the Zeo crystals being more powerful overtime is a nice story that pales in comparison to the real reason is that the Japanese version doesn't have enough stock footage that the US can continue to use. Therefore, in the movie, making Kat lose the ability to morph due to water, is the only solution to segway into the Turbo powers.
I hated the Zeo rangers look.. the original costumes are unbeatable, honestly my favorite are the movie suits, even though they had limited physical movement, they just looked insanely good, and actual SUITS, not spandex with plastic masks lol.
I have a theory regarding the zeo crystal however i did forget about forever red but here goes What if the zeo powers were turned to the tubo powers? My theory is that the zeo crystal accessed the morphing grid and the morpher itself was a way to control the power output like a tap so what if when the turbo powers were created the turbo keys were just the zeo crystal fragments and the morpher was designed to let more power through. This theory explains why no proper 6th ranger was in turbo and it can even go into dino thunder what if there were more than one zeo crystal and the dino gems are part of a zeo crystal and even though tommy has one it isnt compatible with his turbo morpher so he still has to use the key with the morpher and all the black dino gem did was change the output of the morpher so it allowed more power from the morphing grid through this theory can also explain why only 5 dino thunder rangers
That would explain why it grows with power over time. A dense crystallized form of the morphing grid itself.
Since it’s power grows over time maybe it’s power is proportional to the amount of ranger in existence. Because both grow over time.
Both origins don't contradict each other as of right now. A power born at the climax of a pitch battle between good and evil, which can explain how the Zeo rangers kept getting stronger the long a conflict persists and possibly why they need to switch powers later on.

It's probably the only way it's power can really be handled too, splitting it so it's powers are spread out thin enough for a body to handle. I wonder if there's ever going to be a part where there's a ranger who can handle a whole section of the grid themselves.
I haven't seen the comic books but I've watched EVERY power rangers season and everything in the media that is film.
So let me ask you this... are the Zeo Rangers the most powerful Rangers of All Time??
If the Zeo Crystal is an energy source with its power growing over time, yes is possible. But many theorized that could be very dangerous and maybe that's why the rangers stop using it, their human bodies could't withstand so much power like Jason's case with the Zeo Gold powers what wasn't meant to human physiology.
That's the only possible explanation otherwise why stop using powers that make you invincible after a while.
This works for me
I like your videos
Thanks!
Great video, Please cover more of the comic books because they are just amazing.
Perfect timing I'm just finished the Zeo Rangers season
Nice! :D
Cool name Zeon. 😁 Thanks as always 6th ranger for sharing the back story. 😀
Nice
Thanks :)
What I want to know is where did the gold zeo crystal come from
Same!!!
My fave was Rita and Zedd,Rio,Scorpina,Mr
Vile, also the clog era was messed up but I looked Loki’s by Rita’s creation and I
Love Astronema both bad and good
Oh and Zelda bigg red frog on cold of been used more same as when Rita and Zeff grew
You know the old saying: Legends are only a few generations away from the truth
Talk about Identity Reveals next
Well the other Zeo Crystals was that planet full of them in the Solar Rangers universe. The Morphin Masters sealed that universe cutting it from the Morphin Grid.
In PR 2017 Zeo Crystals jump start life to emerge on planets like Earth. The Power Rangers were a legion to protect life thus the Zeo Crystal away from evil hands.
Woot
Thanks for not spoiling it for others. 😉
Yay!
I always wanted that about the Zeo powers. They were never destroyed, the rangers just upgraded to and never really mentioned Zeo again until forever red.
I'll just assume this fairy tale is the crystal's true origin until the comics say otherwise
You should make a video about the Crystal of Nightmares . Why would such a Crystal even be created ?
I agree I wanna know the Origin of it as well
I loved the power rangers zeo can you talk about king Sphinx please????
Great video as always, my friend. Definitely make another Drakkon video!
I remeber these rangers but vividly
The Turbo powers are just a stabilized version of the Zeo powers the rangers made
Any plans to do more reviews of Boom Studio Comics? You got to volume 6, but now they’re up to Volume 11
Where did you find the still at 0:35?
Can you do a video on blue centurion from power rangers turbo
Plot hole... how was Goldar and Rito able to steal the crystal... evil can't touch it🤔
The Zeo Crystal legend is a really good story in a man I really like the comic books way better and the show is well explain a good backstory for men
I’m sad I’m super behind on the Boom Studio comics 😭 around July/August I got really busy and had no money so I haven’t been able to read anything since
The same Boom Studios comics also brings up a planetoid made of crystals seemingly identical to the Zeo Crystal in another dimension severed from the Morphin' Grid, and the then present team of Solar Rangers (Ellarien, Andros, Heckyl, Cam Watanabe, Mike Corbett, Tanya Sloan, and the Ranger Slayer) had used their Megazord and the planetoid itself as conduits between the universe they were in and the Morphin'Grid itself to connect the universe they were in back to the Morphin' Grid. Perhaps the crystal that Zeon used to slay Vitara could have come from either the same planet or at least the main Power Rangers universe's counterpart to said planet?
So the other dude zordon was with is Zed right?! Vid please 👍👍👍
I don’t know why, but I feel like that warrior from Zordon’s story is going to be either Tommy or Jason flung back to the origin of life and using the available resources to make armor similar to what he had as a modern ranger!
Are you going to do a story on the Tattoo teenage alien fighters from Beverly Hills Tattoos?
😕 I wonder what happened to the zeo crystal after the rangers switched from zeo to turbo and where did it go when the command center was destroyed by divatox?
yes do make a video about lord drakkon's comeback
I'm going to assume because he already Tommy Oliver had already fought two of the Rangers mighty Morphin green and white then he probably figured out that it was possible for the zeo red to be there too so therefore he didn't really question them
They always have the power or the Zeo power to be exact because
Dino fury implies the morphin masters kind of just made all the power ranger power sources, for the ones destined to find them.
Zordon ONLY sent the child rangers through time but NOT space!
I'm pretty sure that space just means distance between locations rather than space in this case. they were sent to different parts of the world after all.
That Rito and Goldard loophole was not so obvious at the time.
"It looks like an icicle"
...he's not wrong...
u know the comic book is not cannon for the tv show so this does not matter to the tv storyline of the zeo rangers at all or why they lost those powers
6th Ranger what don't you do a story on dark specter
I say cover both! Love the videos
Thank you :)

Um beyond the grid establishes the zeo crystals are from another universe. Hell its the crux of thay story arc
Didn't they say in beyond the grid that they found an entire planet made of a material that matched the zeo crystal and theorized that it could be where the crystal came from? And that planet was hidden in a dead pocket dimension cut off from the grid to prevent it falling in the wrong hands?
In my power rangers fan fiction David is the red zeo ranger instead of tommy
Link please
No link sorry my fan fiction is in paper
Would some please tell me what does word zeo means? I don't know what that means so I want to know what iz means and origin grom that Word so badly.
My theory has always been that the Zeo Crystal is the actual power of ALL Rangers and they are connected through the grid
I saw on google that the reason The Rangers stopped using their Zeo powers is because they were killing them.
Es la historia verdadera del Grial como primado negativo..
ZEO crestal is a wary old ting , way not to do a video about solar rangers?!
That would be cool!
@@afanasiyz9710 Wary cool!
I always thought the comment Zedd tried to get it was a sarcastic comment that was meant to explain why he was so ugly.
ZORDon/ZORDs ON and ZEOn/ZEO. Is there some kind of connection?
It kinda hard
But hey after the turbo ranger didn’t defend the
Power chambers and it getting destroyed oh well
I understand the creating of lore from the series in retrospect of the tv show; but the jumbling of current and past lore is what happens when a brand acquires a standing series that has standing continuity, only to make a mess and leave much unexplained.
The more Drakkon the better!!
Maybe I'm just American, but is this a channel of TVTalksWithTom???
I hated the Zeo rangers look.. the original costumes are unbeatable, honestly my favorite are the movie suits, even though they had limited physical movement, they just looked insanely good, and actual SUITS, not spandex with plastic masks lol.
I have a theory regarding the zeo crystal however i did forget about forever red but here goes
What if the zeo powers were turned to the tubo powers?
But you didn't explain how it ended up buried under the Krispy Kream!
But in ohranger it's more different but there power so strong that they can't stand there transformation
Anything from comic books is fan fiction as far as I’m concerned. Only show explanation and continuity count.
Ok then can you explain Thrax then?
