Avril Lavigne returns to Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island with her "Greatest Hits" tour for a sold out crowd on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, after 10 years since her last performance at this venue as the opening act for the Backstreet Boys in their “In a World Like This” tour back in 2014. While Lavigne has performed live in concert in Chicago in 2019 at the Chicago Theatre in her “Head Above Water” tour and at Lollapalooza in 2022 and 2023, this is her first time headlining a show at Northerly Island.
