One coffee - add me own Irish even - could buy me hours of working, using their WiFi & leccy. Food tastes fine if they properly cook it through, but I wouldn't eat it too often. Ain't so healthy.
I went to The Corn Exchange in Leicester to watch the England game around 7pm Sunday after finishing work got a taxi into town, on arrival I waited My turn,, Finally got to the front, the barlad came up scanning Left to Right assertaining whose next, without speaking I put My hand up, he said " That's very rude, I'm going to have to ask you to leave! " People to the Left and right of me were baffled too, Been there a million times, All the staff know me. But had to leave because of Alan Walker. I got a Taxi back home as i was reeling and didn't bother with the football after that. Switched off My phone and Took the Dog out for an Extra long Walk to calm down. Can only put it down to not liking the look of me As I didn't even speak & I hadn't had a drink. I didn't argue and Left.
People think Sleaford Mods represent the beating heart of working class culture. Not for me. GLC just nail it. Its the combination of bleak observation with humour. Really captures it like no one else.
Loved it when the owner of Spoons said that he was not going to stock champagne if the price went up due to Brexit. As someone said: "Don't worry about that Tim. No one is going to Weatherspoons to celebrate!" 😂
