I think what I love the most about Justin's videos is his enthusiasm, be it his love of what he does, his happy dance, or the stunning stones he produces.
I am from the Alps in Germany and i watch your videos already for a while. Its like a meditation for me to share with you on your machines the birth of these beautiful, colorfull and sparkeling stones...🤗..its like travelling for a short time in a wonderland...💖..thank you
You’re an oasis of calm and beauty in this desert of a crazy, mixed up world. Thank you, all, for sharing your talents. Peace and blessings from Vermont.
hi, love to watch your expertise on opal cutting. I suffer from i somnia, and watch you all through the night, what a beauiful one you have at the moment, keep on up the good work, from danny BRISTOL UK
What a Beauty! Justin you cut this perfectly, making it worth every cent of its 8k carat. This gem confirms why Australian opals are the best in the world. Thanks Justin, for allowing us to watch you at work, you cut a beautiful gem, makes me a proud Aussie we have the best opals and the best cutter, Justin, in the world!. As always many thanks to Tamika and Black Opal Direct for another great video ....... until next week.......
I love my Australian brothers and sisters. You guys are the best. Your Aussie spirit never fails to give me positive vibes and put me in a good mood. In my book, Justin is right up there with Steve Irwin and Kevin Parker of Aussie legends. You guys have a beautiful spirit and my goodness that stone is beautiful too.
@@blackopaldirect i have two sticks to rub together that are worth 10.000 . How can that be because i say so 🤣😂🤣. only a fool buys high priced items that hold no real value. In my eyes your opal is not worth anything.
You are so talented. When I was 12 my Dad took our family to Germany where my Dad is from and My Opa bought me a beautiful opal Ring that had some beautiful color. I’ve been obsessed ever since.
5:27 Visited Grawin, LR w/ husband earth sci teacher & hobbyist opal cutter in the 20teens. Treated so well. Milton (a miner, no longer with us) and quilting wife, Lynn, fed us lovely lamb chops twice! Husband was taken into mine for a look below to take some photos to teach 15yr/olds about opals. One girl went on to get degree at GIA. Amazing trip!
I'm in Portsmouth UK. Love the show and the beautiful sometimes stunning ancient wonders of Mother Earth. Skillfully crafted to reveal their finest qualities.
That turned out beautiful.....My son is born on your B-Day, as is my aunt.....we have 4 doubles in the fam, you'll make a triple, including the opal fam....hehe Happy Birthday Thanks for sharing your nice work over the many years. I like the beginning to end vids.....as well as the roughing out ones.....cheers
Well, that's the most nerve-wracking video yet. I have to say it seemed you used more machines than usual, and at any moment you would lose that astonishing color bar with one more twist. Then those edges started to twinkle w/gold and bright yellow lights, the intensity of those extraordinary big sheets of colors so complimentarily arranged with each other, the depth many orders of magnitude as if you are looking into deep space through a kaleidescope, and still you are grinding away, with the noise getting less pleasing as you tidy it up. Couldn't wait for the process to get done! And VOILA!💥🎉💃😱❤️!!! Thanks again for the best video so far for me in the last few months of 2023, from Maine, USA. (And those subscribers certainly are mounting up, Fantastic!) Thanks and Goodday to you and your beautiful assistant.
I am from Kangaroo Island. South Australia. love watching your site . I do lapidary and am now starting on opal so all your tuition is invaluable . I want got to get a gem light. I can see its usefulness . cheers guys . cut on ...
Hi Justin and a very happy birthday wish coming to you...even if it's a bit early. I am 74 years old and enjoy watching you take a funky stone and turn it into something incredibly beautiful gem!
What a gorgeous gem ! The diversity in colors and patterns Opal displays are just amazing, like fingerprints almost. And this one is no exception. I thought I saw a bit of script pattern deep inside on the darker end, a faint hint of it, briefly.
The Master of Black Opals! Your videos offer something no one else offers on all of RUclips! It most certainly isn't a channel created by AI and has that personal touch!
The stone looked great to start with but you brought out the beauty out of it and cut a beautiful stone!!! I enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
I LOVE black opales... for me it is the stone that represent "the Universe" dancing in space!!! 💖🥰💞 I would appreciate that you put the automatic translation. I have impaired audition (Auditory Transmission Disorder) I hear but do not understand what I hear when there is background noise (or other people speaking) and there is a lot of it in your videos!!! Reading the translation palliates this difficulty. Thank you to enchant us with such beauty!
Aaargh! Missed the live! Oh well. Great job Justin, and the opal turned out beautiful! Glad you fixed the technical problem from the last live - stupid RUclips!! Can't wait to see the next video! ❤️
Beautiful gem. But I like the excitement and the suspense of seeing if something spectacular comes out of the rough better. Please don't take it the wrong way. I love watching what you do.
Hy Justin! Thank you for explaining every little step of your work so detailed. I’m a little stonecutter by miself and as well make some jewellry out of it. though I am at a lower price level, your informative and funny videos help me a lot with my work and passion. By the way, we have birthday at the same day (14.11.1968) and the year might be very similar as well! Happy birthday brother! Greetings, Michael from La Gomera Island (Born in Vienna, Austria)
I saw Paul McCartney in AtlantaGa USA and she’s right he played for over 3 hours non stop. One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. My granddaughter is a rock hound and she’s is amazed with your opals.
It’s interesting when you have it raw and find out what you got… but I like this focusing on a sure thing, or should I say an expensive rock that you could F-up!😳😂 She turned out brilliant, it’s so nice to see you lovingly bring out the colours and taking time to make it better. 🙂😉 + 1 oh and happy birthday!😁
This may be my favorite Opal of all the videos I've watched!! Is it harlequin pattern? (Oh, and it's good to see your hematoma under your thumbnail is growing out & fading)
My father was in Townsville for part of WW II with U.S. Air Transport Command. I was in Western Australia in the early 1980s, and still have the opals I picked up on my trip. Nothing as spectacular as this gem.
I think what I love the most about Justin's videos is his enthusiasm, be it his love of what he does, his happy dance, or the stunning stones he produces.
