- What are the general items when one goes to a house to check vaastu? What are the items and directions one must check in a house for a peaceful and comfortable living? Are there a few rules of vaastu according to which we can set our house and things? Yes. First of all the first rule of vatu is cleanliness . Remove all clutter from house. You have stored clothes from your own childhood for when your children or grandchildren will use. What is happening? Unnecessarily you are holding on to things . Those things which might be needed tomorrow might or might never be used. First of all clear the junk. You got your house painted once . A little was left over and you saved it thinking you might use it sometimes for touching up. One day I was listening to something that till a shirt reduced to a kitchen rag we don’t let it go. That is the first problem according to vaastu. When you are not able to let of things you don’t need them it gets affected. The things will be needed later or not that is not important . what message did you give the Universe that tomorrow if you need to get your house painted , you won’t have enough money for it. That is again creating negative energies- storing it for use later on.
Number 1 , you keep your house clean. Number 2 , all the wc in your house , keep their lids down. Number 3 , in your washroom, by default, in a glass bowl keep rock salt and keep changing every 10-15 days and the previous one you must flush off. Make it a habit to put salt in water to mop the floor. Tell your helpers to use salt for mopping. This is a general method . Also your whole house, if is of one colour from inside , it won’t have any negative impact even if it is a blue or whole is sea green or whole is pista green, it is ok.
That time you won’t see if it is blue then South East will have water element . If the whole house is of same colour , say of white , and play with the interiors. The other things to be seen is that there should be no cracks . This is the first sign that you might have geopathic stress in your home. After this check if you have termites anywhere in your house- don’t let it happen. If there are termites 100% there is problem in your home. That there should be no negative energies in a house, they remain balanced- plant a tulsi plant in your home. Whenever you place a tulsi(basil) plant, negative energies start reducing.
Also you must never keep a damaged statue or painting which reflects the human body incompletely , eg Bhudda’s face only which is not recommended at all - Only head part , not the complete Bhudda. In Hinduism darshan of damaged statues are considered bad as the exact place these statue are damaged , it will affect your subconscious there and simultaneously it will impact your body part with the same problem . So understand it.
