It is clear to me that trump was coached and rehearsed for the fox segment. Why? 1. trump does not know the word acuity. 2. The five words he uses as an example and the order he says them are contrived ("person", "woman", "man", "camera", "tv"). 3. The words "person", "woman", and "man" are too alike for this kind of test. 4. As someone else already mentioned "tv" is not a word but the word "television" was going to be too confusing and difficult for trump to reliably remember. 5. trump could not remember five simple words. For example "insect", "star", "train", "branch", "water". It is painfully obvious that he would not be capable of repeating these five words back to an examiner. 6. The words "person", "woman", and "man" are interconnected. trump's coaches figured with a lot of practice trump trump could manage these three words. For political purposes trump's people put the word "woman" before the word "man". 7. Team trump still needed two more words. "Camera" and "tv" might work because trump would be able to see them during the interview. trump needed visual aides for all the words. 8. So they rehearsed it like this: You will be in front of an adult "person" who will be a "woman" or a "man". Look at the "camera" and the "tv" (monitor). Rinse and repeat. 9. Change the word order to "tv", "man", "person", "camera" "woman" and he fails every time because he is NOT cognitively there. 10. Team trump was heavily coaching trump and rehearsing many, many, many, times.

& Mr. Noam Chomsky (A wise Chief in our national tribe!)
Reminder: This is actually happening.
My head hurts from you people. . you are soo proud of yourselves. . You really think that you are smarter then most people in america.
narcissists.
Noam is the dude. 💯❤️🙏🏼
I wish Noam could live forever..
"His stupidity is cavernous". Bob Woodward
Trump said he has the best words. Except "TV" is an abbreviation and not a word.
That is right, it isn't in dictionaries.
A very good speaker, good, clear explanations and thoughts.
Could be a ‘message’ to Ghislaine or anyone. Could be just simply ‘sex sells’.
I think underestimating his pathology is the worst thing to do right now.
Paul Stanway : groups of mothers standing simply in peaceful support are being shoved to the ground, tear gassed, beaten.
What society do you really want to live in?
I’m not a socialist but I do believe in things like the rights of the ‘First Amendment’ and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights : Appendix 5.
These are both under threat right now!
@Paul Stanway Biden has dementia?I didn't know that. When did you find out?
Professor Chomsky, you are Monumental. Thank you !
Thanks for not scaring the life out of me noam.
How right you are sir.
Chomsky is one of the finrest individuals to walk the planet. Makes me a bit sad to hear him.
Truer words were never spoken, it is definitely going to be a very difficult couple of months ahead.
Interesting: the word 'fascist' gives the maniac way to much credit.
Scary.
To be a dictator you have to be believable and show strength. I really appreciate this video, this man is pragmatic and factual, this is the type of people we like he in Canada
“Person....woman....man....camera....TV”. He is using the people and things around him in the interview as cues.
He is so transparent in everything he says and does, he is actually an echo to what one has already predicted 🙄
Every MAGA Supporter - *I didn't see any camera's in the video, plus the TV is in MY house, stupid libtard!*

There are three people that we absolutely cannot afford to lose right now - Noam Chomsky, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Bernie.
I love how Noam can throw shade with such gentle reverence that you almost don't pick up on into it 😅
Wicked awesome interview
"i read the top 10 children's books. cover to cover. all ten. doctors said they'd never seen anything like it".
Funniest Trump wisecrack ever!
No, actually, he just looked at the pictures ....
Thank you!
Amy, you really have to ask a question that everyone slapping their heads already knows? When I get to your age I wish to have your patience and fortitude.
Goodman routinely asks questions the answers to which are completely obvious. And if she has a question she prepared before the interview to pose, she'll ask it even if it's already been answered.
@ Wow! There's always MSNBC id that's your cup of tea.
Amy Goodman - probably the best News reporter.
To start with he could not remember the name of the test. I am sure that he heard when told but he saw no reason to commit the name of the test to his memory. Now if that is not the sign of an idiot, What is?
truth sayer
Yes first test he's ever taken in his entire life. 😅.
"...very difficult couple of months ahead!" On top of all the rest.
Donald Trump clearly has more dollar bills in his money clip than active brain cells.
Thomas Jensen Too bad he is holding rubles.
Thomas Jensen Most of those $ bills came by underhanded means, certainty not by an honest days work.
this . is. really. scary ! i knew this but coming from Dr. Chomsky makes it more real
"Is the United States being run by a madman?" - quote of the year
This was the saddest thing EVER
catastrophically malignant malfeasance.
psychopathic sociopathic narcissism.
Great job, Amy!
Noam Chomsky is a real National Treasure.
Hell America doesn’t deserve him.
M R I was just learning about his contribution to linguistics and psychology.
@andrew gallovich save that for you're mother ;).
We must all hear Prof. Chomsky speak while we still have a chance. He is the moral, rational voice of our democracy which is in imminent collapse. We should cherish this source of trancendent wisdom while we still have this opportunity.
"Is the United States being run by a madman"... that was funny, but not, at the same time....
Noone corrects him when he makes the claim that one receives extra points for reciting the words in order. There are no points in that test.
Trump is nervous by the way he's speaking. That means he's lying, confused or both.
You also get extra points for remembering your own name.
But did he manage that part of the test?!
“If this were a dictatorship it would be a heck of a lot easier... as long as I'm the dictator. Hehehe.”
― George W. Bush
At least tRump is making double-ewe look good... That no small accomplishment. 😏😉
I carried this as a sign in one of the protests against the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. Certainly, the incredibly Trump wants to be the dictator of our country and have an autocracy.
Well said!
@2:42 ''The country's being run by a madman.'' -- Noam Chomsky
Priceless
It’s a shame that Chomsky never ran for president
He wouldn't want it. He's an anarchist. He doesn't believe in a central state and wouldn't participate in one. He was once asked what he would say to people if he were running for president: "Don't vote for me."

Can’t wait to see this showdown.
Yeah, I can’t wait for Biden to crush Trump in the debates. Is this what you mean? Biden seems so well spoken and clever. I’m excited to hear him talk every time he’s on the news.
