Applying your tactics 15 years ago to this days has made me a better fisherman and consistently put fish on the bank for me. Thanks for being a true pioneer in the sport for me. You are today's Al Linder for me.
I love to musky, walleye, and bass fish. Watching your videos makes me want to get into salmon and trout fishing because your videos are so informative.
I used to ice fish for walleye with your dad in Chassell Michigan. You have got to have the best how to videos on RUclips. I’ve had good luck trolling purple and silver flicker minnow’s for walleye. Watched your video of the Keweenaw tour you did this year “Awesome “.
No scam here. Love the spoon color for Salmon. When are you teaming up with JMO on Big DL in ND to catch those Fall walleyes? And where are your trophy musky stories? Fish On 🎣 🇺🇸👍🏼
Reef Runners have been a great crank bait for Kings. They have such great colors and the slow wide wobble gets em every time. Thundersticks are my second choice.
Very informative and enjoyable videos as always !!! My favorite plugs for fall fishing, worden's flatfish, storm wiggle warts, f-13 jointed rapala's and rattle traps. Thanks, again Eric !!!! Go Hammer a Big MAMMA !!!
Eric you have taught me so much with steelhead and salmon fishing, I am 15 and eager to learn more I would really appreciate some of your spoons, I think spoons are the greatest lure of all time and I would really appreciate it. Best regards Mr Haataja
Eric my guy I watch all your vids I even keep going back and watching old vids till I perfect everything to do with trout and salmon cuz you really be dialing in on em and I definitely am a believer cuz I use all your tactics and they work 👍🏽
Always enjoy your videos I've learned so much about fishing lake Michigan I'm from Madison so I don't get down there as often as I'd like but at least I have info to use thanks to you.
In past years the jointed fire tiger J-13 Rapala and the square bill crankbaits from shore but this year it's been tough so far for reasons you gave - thanks!
Eric love the content you put out. I love fishing Lake Delavan and look forward to when you post on fishing it so I can try what you have success with.
Man I can’t wait for all the fall vids to come out I hope you smash em this year out there bud even though it’s so hot !!! ( sadly we don’t have kings up here smh , but you truly did open the magical door of a jogging spoon up for me man 1 the funnest bites there is I swear ! )
Get info as always Eric , unfortunately this my worst season ever as I was sick all summer and I had an heart attack in that parking lot on aug 31 .I’m hoping this spring I can get back out there .
I was real big on casting spinners last few years for salmon and have been loving it. Just started chucking j-13s and im addicted! Our regs are single hook free swinging 5/8” gap or less. I have a hard time hooking them, any tips on set up with single hooks? Bead chain? No chain?
I seen a video a of you on piscifun you were using a green straight tail minnow and you mention what jig head you were using I was just wondering if you could reply with a link to those jig heads cause I couldn’t find it
I switched from gamakatsu EWG hooks to,their x2 hooks this year, fish kept straightening my hooks out on my yak😅. Long lining Reef Runner 800’s right at bottom have been killer for me so far
With the water being as warm as it is. How long do salmon last when they go up the river? And will there still be a push of silver fish when we finally get colder water, like a late run per say?
I love how you aren't afraid to give away your spots, tactics, and lures.
I got my first Lake Michigan king last week on a Blue Jackal moonshine casting spoon! What a fight, I'll never forget that feeling
Good job Eric you always explain things correctly and show us what other fishermen don't
I love how you are not afraid to tell people how to fish and what to fish with.

East coast of Michigan has had the same type of weather this year. East wind, warm temps. I like Rapalas, husky jerks and especially Shad Raps.
Reef Runners have been a great crank bait for Kings. They have such great colors and the slow wide wobble gets em every time. Thundersticks are my second choice.
