I love the work you do. Absolutely blows my mind the skill involved. Brilliant channel. I have to admit for the car you now have I think the whole cost is a bit of a bargain. Sure you could have bought another one for roughly the same money, but it probably would have come with it's own issues! Great channel, keep up the great work.

Just had a quote from my garage for total clutch replacement on my 320Ci, that dual mass flywheel is so expensive but a necessity for sure. I'm glad I watched your video though before booking it in as they didn't include the rear seal which would be silly not to do. Thanks for sharing as always.
Good job guys. It's always worth doing the rear back plates however you go about it, otherwise one day the shoe securing pins will let go and the back wheel will lock up solid. Very frightening, ask me how I know! Where on earth did you get that insurance deal? I pay more than that for my 325Ci with 20 years NCD.

When installing and removing the backing plates.. be aware that the abs magnetic pickup on the hub can get damaged from the rusty backing plate... you then have to remove and replace the wheel bearing and hub!
Funny enough we're only having trouble with one of the fronts and they weren't that rusty!

I have a pair of rear dust shields for my E46 sat in my garage for exactly the same reason.

M tec disc's are good for the money got them all round on my Astra coupe turbo 👍🏾👌🏽
They are bedding in lovely. So far so good!
