    What has happened to us as a people? He showed such absolute class being patient with her by redoing the beginning of the interview twice. Then gave an absolutely marvelous interview to her. Always the gentleman. People say that we have evolved that I say nonsense... If anything we have DE volved.

    Excellent interview. Thanks so much for sharing with us. The famous purge of CBS in the spring of 1971 when many “rural” or “family” shows were cancelled in favor of more “modern” shows. Sebastian Cabot left us way too soon 😨

    • @renaissanceman165
      @renaissanceman165 5 лет назад +4

      True! Why couldn't "The Beverly Hillbillies" have been retained for a 10th, and final season?! The network could have, atleast, kept ONE rural "country" based show in production. Especially, one that consistently remained in the top 10 ratings profile during its entire network first run. "Closure People!"

      Ironically in Disney animated classics he took part in different roles in two different reitherman brothers. He was abusive and batshit crazy as hell as sir Ector towards two different reitherman brothers (wart Arthur in the sword in the stone; Robert and Richard reitherman) whereas as bagheera when he’s sympathetic and protective towards mowgli (Bruce reitherman)the jungle book

    Sebastian is an example of style vs fashion in his clothing attire. People who follow fashion lack confidence in themselves because they worry about what others think about how they dress. By contrast, style describes who you are and you don't care what others think because you are confident in who you are. In other words, you are not out to impress others because you feel no need to do so. You are who you are not not what others want you to be.

    CBS got rid of Family Affair and some other programs to make way for All in the Family. Not that it was a bad program, but All in the Family had very little charm. It would be three years before Little House on the Prairie picked up the charm and ran with it. Sadly, no other programs have had that level of charm ever since.
