After encountering two big bucks the night before, I make a move to hopefully get within bow range. The only problem: the deer are already making their way toward me. I get stuck having to hunt from the ground, but it results in a super intense hunt and some killer eye-level footage.

Always heart pumping when a mature deer is making an appearance. That was a fun night for sure. I've always wondered how a deer feeding can snap its head up look to distant area and ta-da out pops another animal without making a sound. Amazing creatures worth all the respect we can give while hunting. Thats what i enjoy about your channel.. respect for the entire process. Thanks so much.
It's truly amazing. And they're so good at it, that I often rely on them to tell me when I need to be watching for another deer. This is key when I'm alone self-filming. I'm often so focused on getting footage that I risk missing something that I'm not watching for. So I usually pick a mature doe or something out of the herd to watch and let me know when something is going on. Thanks for watching!

Awesome footage I tagged out of my biggest buck to date this year in Ohio. Came out to Missouri been hunting here for 5 days cold as hell been seeing plenty of does but not to many bucks. One last sit tonight and season over. I’d love to have a sit like you have word your in a killer spot

How did you get out with all those deer in the field?
Most of the time I either wait until it's really dark or I will do some coyote howls with my mouth to clear the field and get out.
Footage is killer! What's the reason for not moving to 4K?
I may do that at some point. I never really considered it because I think most people are still watching on 1080p devices, but if enough people think it would improve the viewing experience, I may do it. It only slightly affects my post production and not being able to scale up the footage as much as I have in the past. Thanks for watching!

Maybe they just feel comfortable yarding with each other during the winter. They don't seem to have much testosterone running through them like those two younger bucks... just a thought.
It's really hard to focus on what your saying with those two bucks on the wall in the background.
