    WOW! Your explaination about how to topology quads and triangles is so clarify. The position of edges can make a huge different between 2 polygons, they must be balanced together, right! I have a question I hope you can help me: I know that in 3d modeling, polygon is the counting unit of size of a 3d file, so we should not waste the number of polygons; then what about the capacity of a triangle in computer data size? (ex: 1 triangle = 1 KB, 1 Quads = 2 KB) Are there any differences about the size in computer of a triangle and a quads? And are these sizes different from the counting unit in maya (or 3d software) I hope you can help me with this! Thank you!

    Does It Matters If You Have Ugly Topology Of Models Like With Triangles.. The Collapsw Part Which You Showed.. Coz I Really Don't Like That Type Topology 😅 I Always Choose Quads Over Triangles

    • @Nexttut
      @Nexttut  3 года назад

      yes triangles are fine! they are like a double edge sword, used in the wrong way they are ugly and create topology problems, however having them in flat areas or areas were they are hidden can be very useful, we use triangles in games all the time.
