I'm not a pushover, but maybe I can be perceived as one by others. I know what mercy and grace means, and even when I want to go back to my old ways and be prideful and exclude others and cut them out after they disrespected me or rejected me, I know I don't deserve the mercy and grace Jesus has for me.
If a thought comes in to my mind to not be good to someone who wasn't thankful toward me when I was giving and loving toward them, I hear Jesus telling me I need to be good to them so I can be a beacon for Him to that person. Both to the Christian and to the non-Christian.
