I love that you aren’t a red dot guy and still have an honest and thorough review on the sight.

You are quite welcome. For what it is worth I am still running that set up and it has given me zero troubles.

I personally like the RAD dots. There's only 1 issue in that they don't get bright enough but my CT dot has held up after 7 months of carrying, every day, with no issues. In self defense, the Dot will be on a darker background like clothing, cars, or walls. I don't think the brightness will affect the capability. Staring out into the sun on a field though, it washes out.

I can see that. I appreciate the insight.

Put one of these on my shield plus and the red dot completely disappeared after I shot about 10 rounds. Disappointed but I gave it a try 💪🏽

If you hate reflex sights, an easier way to mount them won't make you like them more. 🤔
They should have a backup iron built into the reflex sight.

@jacobstaten2366 While true I still have to be able to do reviews on whatever is sent my way.

Will this mount work with other red dots?

There are two plates in the kit: one for the RAD and another for the RAD Micro.
The RAD uses the Docter footprint.
The RAD Micro uses the Shield RMSc/Jpoint footprint, which would also accommodate the Holosun K-series.

Would make for a good range gun but I would not use as a carry or beside gun. If that sight goes down you're SOL !!!

That is my thoughts. I was going to try running it off as the front sight is still clearly visible and see how that works.

Not so you can get plates where you can co witness my edc is a shadow system mr920l with a holison my iron sights are compressor heights and the pairing of the two are great if the dot goes out I still have my irons I have ccw this same set up for the past 4 years no issues
