Wu in a Nutshell: Sun JIan: I left everything to you Sun Ce...... and I'm retiring!!!! Sun Ce: I left everything to you Sun Quan... and I'm retiring!!!!! Sun Quan: BROTHEEER!!!! FATHEEER!!!!! The end
Sun Quan surpasses his father and brother. There are historical records of his orders that did Wu Kingdom far more good than what his father and brother did to the Sun clan. Though the difference is his father and brother was managing a clan/state, Sun Quan was managing an entire kingdom.
Yes i too love this game. I grew up on it and learned to treat woman like they are simple minded only seeking to please man and to dress them up as 10yr old girls. THANK YOU DYNASTY WARRIORS!
15:50 Zhou yu's fall was realistic, like he actually got hit with an arrow watch some dumbass say "he did get hit with an arrow" before actually understanding my comment.
I love the Wu Kingdom, I think the hypothetical story line is great, but in actual history, they probably had the least chance of winning as they rarely push to take out the other kingdoms, they played mostly defensive, which meant they couldn’t continue conquest
I always wondered why Ling Tong and Gan Ning argued in Dynasty Warriors. I went to research and found that historically Gan Ning killed Ling Tong's Father, Ling Cao, when Gan Ning was a subordinate of Huang Zu, the Administrator of Jiangxia Commandery. Huang Zu was being attacked by Sun Quan during that time. Also the 2 fought in Lu Meng's house during a banquet and Lu Meng had to step in to split them up.
DW7 was well done. It wont be topped fully until we get a few more key characters and Jin story finally ends with the Fall of Wu. They also made great improvements such as multi-choice for story missions and What-Ifs.
To bad they gave less effort to Wu story. Sun Jian was the most successful general against anti Dong Zhou coalition and they removed Hu Lao gate from Wu story, Liu Bei is not even participated that coalition but still has that stage. Yellow Turban Rebellion which debuted Cao Cao and Sun Jian completely removed from Wei and Wu. Fight against Liu Biao is just one stage and no Sun Quan vs Huang Zu. Hypothetical route is worse out of all kingdoms. No conquering of Shu, Wu couldn't even united the land.
@@pirotess2 Liu Biao is good, but he lacks ambition. Probably because he's an old man by the time the Three Kingdoms began. Other than that, he got a rich province, with decent men able to govern it, and a stable place that attracts refugees from the war up north.
I think the Wu Story of DW8 can be improved if they give more insights of character backgrounds relating to the officers while still managing to separate the historical and hypothetical route of the campaign. I do love the touch of tragedy and sorrow when officers die in the cutscenes, such as crying and weeping except for Lu Meng's death, which I find it weak this time. It seems that this time they really downplay Lu Xun and Cao Pi's archnemesis status to highlight Sun Quan's character development.
is it just me or dont you guys also think that in cutscenes when there should be many enemies or armies and you only see about 20-60 men is a bit letdown like you dont get the fealing of that its a big army that i comming or about to fight i think Dynasty Warriors games should put a little more into that part of the game
Of the three kingdoms, Wu certainly had the worst time with its strategists and rulers, considering how many they went through until Lu Xun and Sun Quan were the two mainstays
Harima Kenji I'd say the ratio of pretty boys is about 1:6, that is, not much. As for guns, I'm pretty sure the only character that uses one is Guo Huai. You could argue that Dong Zhuo uses bombs, but so did Huang Gai before DW6.
i dont understand why all of you agents sun quan (and wu) he was good leader a ''coward' i dont thinks so proof: wu only cared about themselves didnt want to conquered lands its like they have yang province and thats enough wei only wanted conquer lands and to surrender to them and shu seeked revenge from wu or tried so survive from wei only because both of them wu had no choice but to help wei and shu stole from wu the glory of jing thats messege for the ANTI WU and koei who showing the crowd how they traitors or cowards wei and shu must have bad things! even cao pi and liu shan werent good leaders
i thought when sun quan rule the land, sun jian and sun ce was already killed, and i thought the victor of the war was wei (but thats okay, wu is my favorite anyways)
+shadowxmaria A lot of what you said is incorrect. Jin succeeded Wei almost forty years after Cao Pi's death, and Shu were conquered by Wei, not by Jin. I'm not quite sure what you meant by the Sun family being servants of the emperor, but if you meant that the final emperors of Wu were not members of the Sun family, then that is also wrong. Also, the civil war nown as the War of the Eight Princes was between the princes of Western Jin, not Eastern Jin, and the nomadic tribes weren't heavily involved in that war either. And the Southern and Northern Dynasties period began in 420, over a century after Western Jin fell. Saying that that period began as a direct result of the Three Kingdoms falling apart is like saying Wu surrendered to Jin in 280 as a direct result of Zhang Jue's Yellow Turban Rebellion. In fact, it's worse, since there's a larger time difference and just as little relevance. And I don't think many of these leaders could be classified as the greatest leaders recorded in history, although I suppose you could make an argument for several.
August The Magic King I see why you'd think that, but the last few decades of the Eastern Han Dynasty alone were far more bloody and brutal than the Western Jin Dynasty. Sure, the war of the eight princes are known for the turbulence within the Sima family, but in reality, this was not much different from the events surrounding the fall of the Yuan family or the fall of Wu. In fact, one could argue that the fall of the Sun family was even bloodier. The war of the eight princes was only a decade or so long, and in truth, the majority of that decade was entirely peaceful. Several of the eight princes weren't aiming to usurp power (Sima Liang, Sima Ai, arguably Sima Wei) but rather to ensure that the rightful emperor received the throne. I'd go as far as to say that the real tragedy only started after the "war" - really a series of coups and indecisive skirmishes - had already ended. In terms of bloodshed, number of civilians killed, number of military officers and troops killed, number of cities destroyed, number of assassinations, etc, the Han Dynasty/3K period far outweighs Jin in severity. Hell, even if you counted the individual death/destruction toll of just one of the three kingdoms alone (with only the inclusion of interior civil damage, ie excluding actions done by Wu or Shu to Wei, but only including damage done within Wei to Wei) then each of the three kingdoms individually outweighs Jin in devastation. The Western Jin Dynasty was actually one of the most peaceful, prosperous times for most of the Chinese population.
I don't like the Wu Campaign motif, Sun Jian almost dies and passes leadership to Sun Ce which is understandable. but then Sun Ce almost dies than passes leadership to Sun Quan? like wtf! I would have preferred it that Sun Jian remained the leader of Wu for its hypothetical campaign and let Sun Quan have the historical campaign, damn it Koei stop trying to convince us Sun Quan was a good leader cause he ain't shit compared to Sun Jian or Sun Ce!!!
You calling establishing Wu as one of the main 3 contenders in the 3 kingdoms, taking Jing province from Shu, beat back the largest army/navy at the time at Chibi, and extending Wu's control as far as north Vietnam as weak?
I'll wait till the game comes out in the states but it looks to me like they fucked up royaly with the story. The cinematics in this are decent but I think that DW7s blew these out of the water.
Wu in a Nutshell:
Sun JIan: I left everything to you Sun Ce...... and I'm retiring!!!!
Sun Ce: I left everything to you Sun Quan... and I'm retiring!!!!!
Sun Quan: BROTHEEER!!!! FATHEEER!!!!!
The end
Wu is sun
thats right
It's not Wu, its Oo
The first time I saw it, I belive the seal imperial was soap ..
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
27:35
The way Ling Tong pointed...the speed of the camera view...the beginning of the dialogue: 'Those b--' ....
My mind is so dirty.
Those "bells" are surely loud
....
6:10 I love the brofist Sun Ce offer Taishi Ci :3 It looks so adorable! :3
Death by arrow #1 cause of Wu deaths
Irony is historically the general that took out the most number of generals is an archer and he's from Wu Kingdom...
bhauzery History has a cruel sense of humor lol
Well, Wu forces always use ships, so they usually always get killed by arrows.
Lol true!
Yeah karma for them
I love the way how they start all cutscenes with Sun family, and end with them again. :))
Sun Quan surpasses his father and brother. There are historical records of his orders that did Wu Kingdom far more good than what his father and brother did to the Sun clan. Though the difference is his father and brother was managing a clan/state, Sun Quan was managing an entire kingdom.
Big difference to rember also is Ce died before actually managing to do anything notable
All the best characters die, then we're left with sun quan who has no self esteem and cries about not being good as everybody else
I love WU kingdom the best kingdom ever and at the end I finally felt happy. I love Dynasty Warriors.
Yes i too love this game. I grew up on it and learned to treat woman like they are simple minded only seeking to please man and to dress them up as 10yr old girls. THANK YOU DYNASTY WARRIORS!
And now I've had many wives:)
@@thapoppyman tbh it's Koei that's ruining the characters...
I like Xiao Qiao's portrayal in Red Cliff (the movie) better than this... Loli...

watch some dumbass say "he did get hit with an arrow" before actually understanding my comment.
Sun Quan = Lu Bu in disguise
yeah now the audio is fine thank you for fixing the problem wonderpierrot
Can we appreciate the ending with CaoCao
And how fucking raw the man was as he just walked into the flames
48:53 Lü Meng: "Holy shit! Who is that beauty with the purple dress? To hell with Wu!"
3:42 Fear the archer of Jing Province.
0:57 tf sun quan is like 9 years old
Meroleks yep sun ce is 15 in that battle
I love the Wu Kingdom, I think the hypothetical story line is great, but in actual history, they probably had the least chance of winning as they rarely push to take out the other kingdoms, they played mostly defensive, which meant they couldn’t continue conquest
whenever wu tried to attack other, they always lost.
all their decisive victory is defensive battle, or small victory trough deception.
Chunhua's trust for her sons and Yi are all time high XDXD The audio is back working, good work! :)
3:40 lol subtitles said ' I lucas have a bench' xD
And when Lu Meng whack Gan Ning and Ling Tong LOL
The hell
I love how they always show like 5people as an "army"
the rest of them just stood around and got chopped in half by the officers
The way Cao Cao dies is fucking dignified.
It was so weird to watch these movies without music
Thanks for the video. With it I was able to figure out how to get the last event I needed.
Wu best kingdom.
No fucking shit traitors
wu is best but wei has best characters
Righteous, Wu's my favorite.
Wei is best
No fuck Wu

Wang Yuanji reminds me that thowing knife scene from John Wick Parabellum
27:11 best cutscene
Ikr XD
LOL Lintong and gan Ning XD
I love how historically the three siblings are 15 (Ce) - 12 (Quan) - 8 (Shang Xiang)
Cao cao's thrones is full of fire just like Nobunaga's thrones in Sengoku basara

Wu couldn't unite the land because Sun Quan never did anything heroic, and most of his sons were idiots
@@Burnout-db7ji Sun Quan was more of a leader type rather than a frontline warrior. He let others do the dirty work for him.
Wu in a nutshell: btw, you gonna replace me.
Wut???
Liu Biao iis a badass. Took out Sun Jian like a bamf and then passed away from a old age
Yah, Liu Biao is better than Liu Bei as a leader and field general, he just don't has many good generals and strategists like Liu Bei.

Well I notice that when I watch it two days ago if I'm correct about the audio tap. Still it's nice to watch it again...
The battle of 3 kingdoms wu,wei,shu... but in the end the jin dynasty won...reality sucks
At the battle of Xinye. You have to complete the Defense of Jiangxia's star requirement to unlock her stage.

Is it just me, or is Lu Su reminds me of an middle aged Lu Xun?
It's all about that fist bump at 6:17.
Many Wu officers are Redshirts like Star Trek...
Sun Jian
Chen Wu
Zu Mao
Sun Ce
Pan Zhang
Zhang Hong
Better than DW9 tbh.
Would anyone agree with me if Two Qiaos have Quan as their older brother figure?
sun quan is the most reasonable person in the series
when i reached that part in the story i laughed so hard, especially because of wang yuanji's comment afterwards XD
Dynasty warriors have gone off reality :/
At less in the first games, the personnages were not like typical boys band or fighting with guns.

NOOO ZHOU YU IS AWESOME
They can't really believe they did a good job on this..
At the Battle of Heifei, but choose Taishi Ci's path instead of Zhou Yu's path.

How did you get that voice of zhang liao back?
