Sun Jians part was almost perfect. The flag pole breaking, Han Dong saying its a bad omen, the fight being against Liu Biao, even Sun Jian getting killed by an arrow. The only difference being that of his children I think only Sun Ce was at the battle and never entered the village. And Sun Jian was killed outside the walls while chasing down a messenger. Also, in addition to arrows he got crushed by a rock which was pretty brutal.

Well in historical route Sun Jian, Sun Ce, Zhou Yu, Lu Su, Taishi Ce, Lu Meng and Gan Ning all die. And that's not adding on the non-Wu characters. It's only in hypothetical that all of those people survive
