Bust 32 - 35 use 1.5 inches
Bust 36 - 41 use 2 inches
Bust 42 - 45 use 2.5 inches
Bust 46 - 50 Use 3 inches

The half inch you added to the nipple poont is the sewing allowance already so adding extra one inch is excess. But having excess is better than having less❤

No ma'am.. The half allowance is so that after sewing the nipple point alligns..If your bust Span is 8 and you draft without adding the half inch, after sewing your nipple point becomes 7 and the outfit is ruined cos the bust won't sit well.
Now the one inch allowance for joining the darts is not excess allowance, because even after adding half inch to the bust Span, you still took your exact bust measurement with that half inch as part of the bust measurement.. So if you don't add one inch for joining the darts, you'll have a shortage..
