I am a huge fan of iPads, but, yeah, they really are used 99% of the time for watching media content.
They are absolutely amazing at that, but it is a bit silly to give them 3nm chips. That's kind of a waste.

If I took them to court, the defense: "oh the original creator didn't say I couldn't use their work, so that means I had permission to steal it" is not a valid defense.. so I don't know how these online data companies are able to get away with and have a freepass to essentially do just this..

The new Smart Cover was just delivered. I compared it to my iPad Pro Gen 4 cover and it's the exact same size. So does the new iPad have smaller bezels if it's .3 inches larger? Anyway, my old iPad fits in the new cover perfectly but, they changed all the magnets. So it wont work. It just falls out. Zero reason to change all the magnets except to force people to buy a new cover.

M2, M3, M4, M2 Pro, M3 Pro, M2 Max, M3 Max, M2 Ultra
Since apple is all about continuity, all of these chips are functionally the same. They just get tuned to meet the needs of whichever device their paired with. Ipad can have an M1-M4 it's still an iPad at the end of the day. If you get the latest iPad pro, well, then you better be into content creation or graphic design of some kind.

Yeah, it says in the markting slide presented in this video too at 0:47 , it has 38 TOPS. A 4090 has over 1000. What they can say is that they have the most powerful NPU, which, if I'm not mistaken, currently maxes out at 16 TOPS in Hawk Point aka AMD's 8040 series of mobile chips.
