I bought my first oled from an led and imo the dimmness is just something i cant get over. Id rather the brightness over the black. Especially because leds are getting better and better to the point where youll be able to live with the lack of depth leds give with blacks vs oleds

Only if you have a massive living room. It is way too large for most and actually looks worse than a 65 inch as far as picture quality due to sitting too close.

I just bought a LG 65" qned85(US) mini led. Similar to this one. I have a bright living room so chose this over an oled. I'm very pleased with it. For movies I like Filmmaker mode the best. Blacks are really good in this mode. Oled blacks?.......no but best blacks I've seen on an led tv. For sports I view in a toned down version of the sports mode. For cable I've been using standard but that could change. Still dialing that in. Overall very pleased.

I wonder why it doesn’t offer four HDMI 2.1 ports like the C1 and other LG OLED TVs do. Is this some kind of bandwidth limitation from this TV’s motherboard or just a cost-cutting measure?
I kinda wish I had gone with miniled….. I went with OLED for the first time because of the zero bloom thing. Come to find out that my astigmatism adds bloom to bright objects on dark backgrounds anyways 😢
Black light bleed because it's ips and also this tv just can't handle gray colors when you have local dimming on(low, medium, hight) .... Why don't you tell about those minuses????
Most of the games I play are story driven single player games using a 55" which I much prefer than a monitor. After this video I'm definitely gonna try and save up a bit and buy a lovely brand new LG
Games that run at 4K should look really good but any 1080p or 1440p resolution might look soft at times bc of the pixel density. Really comes down to you and if you don’t mind the soft look at times. Great video

Game mode literally ruins this TV and almost every other TV on the market. I had a Samsung and now own an LG. These TV’s are not made for gaming unless you ruin the whole image in order to play on it.
I know it's not officially Gsync certified but can you still activate in windows and have VRR for PC gaming on it? That's the way the QN90B works, doesn't technically support it but you can activate it fine in windows and use VRR without issue.

hope you chose well. for me it came down to the time of day when im watching content. Working a regular job or going to uni, how many days a year do you actually get to watch/play content for hours during daytime, bright hours? i reckon not so many. Most watching for most people is done after work/uni/school, after dinner, when its dark outside depending on where you live. makes OLED the easy choice IMO

i know i'm late to this, but would really appreciate a reply. i'm hard of hearing so i watch everything with subtitles, i have read that they can sooner or later cause burn in on oled tv's, especially if they are bright white, which i need them to be. im between getting an lg c1 or c2, but now i.m thinking the LG miniLED might be a safer bet longterm. any thoughts, advice, recommendations? thanks
If subtitles were used every day, there's a chance you'd get burn in. But if you use the OLED burn-in features (don't turn it off at the wall every night) you should be fine.

This TV naming convention is very confusing. Normally it's size (75) type (QNED) class (86)... but normally LG/Samsung/Sony use classes like (60/70/75/80/85/90)... 86 is a weird class size, but it's ALSO a screen size (86").

What people don’t tell you about these TVs is that game mode ruins the whole image…You sacrifice all the color and image in order to play at a bearable input latency.

The only negative thing is, that Oled is bright but not that bright
OLED is way too dim for a proper HDR experience. I feel bad for anyone who bought a display with an OLED panel.

It’s the model number, so 75QNED86. 75 is the size, 86 the model code.

i got 75 x95j. besides the blooming, it looks great on the PS5 and PC. Really happy. My only complaints is the tv is pretty huge and it’s heavy.
