Granblue Fantasy, there's a certain beauty that this franchise has that I can't even begin to compare to almost all of the fantasy games I've played. References to the original mobile game, Granblue has an extensive variety of unique characters in which each and everyone one has a distinct design and fighting style. The franchise also has a beautiful score of music ranging from epic boss battle music to nice relaxing music to take in the view. Seeing here Granblue expanding out to a console game and with PLATNIUM GAMES at that and with an open world-ish gameplay, I can probably say I'll cry once I get my hands on this game.

Wow this looks great. Fluid movement/combat and respectable graphics; as expected from Platinum I suppose. Seems like Cygames have really hit a streak of good cross-media material, with the two excellent Shingeki no Bahamut anime series (and Granblue Fantasy anime lol) as well.

The combat of this game seems really good. The right amount of action, without being to damn caotic. And still have some degree of strategy and difficulty maybe. Other JRPGs should take inspiration from this for their combat systems.
Ff12 is great at that. Hope this has some kind of gambit system as well

Its crazy how little was changed from when this was first revealed other then some polish and a much appreciated change in artstyle that really makes everything pop, absolutely love this game, its up there with some of my favorite action RPGs
That art looks so much worse. Where is the fog in the atosphere? the air just looks empty. The beautiful shading and lighting. It's lost it's soul.

Bruce Wayne horizon is fun but I never seem to be able to finish it because I just stop playing. Nier however is pretty amazing and I finished it all in one go, never got back to replaying it though but I want to because there’s different endings and upgrades you can get on new game plus

GBF anime is aimed to make you want to play the game, so it only covers the first chapter, and it does it pretty good, except that it feels so short and makes you want more. If you like adventure anime then it is a solid 8/10.

This one is developed by platinum games. After some time later platinum games discontinued developing this game and continued by Cya Games

@@Roozeyskabooty Maybe the issue really is the "flashy" aspect, it occupies the whole screen and unnecessarily bothers the sight. Also the camera in the newer gameplays kinda looks "closer" to the character, taking off a bit of the panoramic view
graphics & animation is one of a kind. Really liked the art style, very interesting & pleasing to the eyes... great work devs!

It actually has cool and reasonable fighting mechanics compared to other anime themed mmorpg with exaggerated attacks
Idk why but, at the beginning, I kinda like how Katalina walks into the village like she’s a high class knight while some people were staring at her like, “who is that woman?”
I love the design. It's not a never done before approach, but it's colorfull and minimalist design is awfully pleasing to the eyes.
With not much technical woola going on, there's less pop ins, and commendable draw distance. Farther objects are beautifully rendered with no stutters. Seriously, looks amazing.

Where do you see Kingdom Hearts? Or Game of Thrones -- I don't think you've see the series. Let alone The Witcher, this is the complete polar opposite. Maybe Final Fantasy, but that's about it.

The visual, the battle, the soundtrack (especially that violin), the environment.. all of them makes me feel I was really there in that village. Too amazing. Day one purchase for me!
NOOOOOOOOO WAY!!! The atmosphere in the game is so awesome, sorta like a medieval atmosphere, the town, the Celtic music playing on the background, that sweet airship in the distance, the characters...I just love it all.
This feels more like Final Fantasy than Final Fantasy itself (FFXV was awful), PLEASE BRING THIS TO EUROPE!!! I need something to replace Final Fantasy (never again) and this is so awesome.

That's because some of the people involved with the development original browser/mobile game that this game is based off of worked on Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy IX. Also you have Nobou Uematsu as one of the composers for the game too as well as Hideo Minaba who was behind the character designs for Final Fantasy IX (and who based the artwork for this game to 'mimic' Akihiko Yoshida's 'noseless' artstyle for Final Fantasy Tactics).
I’m pretty sure it will release in the West also. Lately Sony has been determined to release Japanese games in the West more than ever before.
Looks very similar to FF entries. Anxious to see if it stands on its own merit.

I've never liked fantasy settings just because half the time it's before modern tech and is always brown and green and unappealing. This actually looks really nice

I sincerely hope they bring this to the west. It looks quite promising for a game based on an anime that in some ways looked generic to me. It's probably better than that but it was just the initial vibe i got.

This game feels like quality of gaming is finally coming back!! When I saw this it reminded me of how I felt when I first saw Final Fantasy VII! Can’t wait for a US release! I would buy a Day One release for sure! Hands down!

The town looks almost as something i wish could be made in Animal Cross. About this game, so far looks fantastic, simple, stylish and remeber me of the anime

Here's to hoping and praying this gets an international release, NA/EU or an english version for us non-japanese gamers. It would be a waste of a good game if they don't put an effort into making it happen with all the recent JRPG's getting praised and the clear resurgence of that genre in the global market. Would be a wise investment if they truly wish for this brand to flourish. Times have changed people! JRPG's is a thing now.
