Hiking in Switzerland EP 11, Graubünden: Saoseo Hut and Val Viola Lake Snowshoe Hike

Happy Holidays Everyone!
This is a video of an overnight snowshoe hike in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, away from Switzerland's more crowded winter destinations.
The first part of the trail is quite easy, but the second part of the trail from Lago di Saoseo to Lach da Val Viola (Val Viola Lake) is more difficult. Not many people will get there and breaking through deep snow may be needed.
Still, this is also part of the attraction - the pristine white landscape, the silence and quietness.
The day ended with an overnight at the Rifugio Saoseo, with some great food and a good night's sleep.
