I admit that I liked this anime since I just started with this anime and with my girlfriend because we started seeing this anime not long ago that I found very interesting since I am not very good Socializing with people with my girlfriend because we loved it and we decided to see her we are waiting for the second season for April 2022
i can relate to Komi when it comes to having trouble speaking up & getting nervous,, except I'm no pretty anime girl so everyone in school just left me alone... i enjoyed being in my own world tho lol but now as an adult where social skills are important to survive "the real world",, it's a struggle...
Same, but since being in university I have a best friend who’s like Tadano lol We first met at a birthday party my flatmate threw for me (that she hadn’t told me about and invited only her friends, then was like “sorry none of your friends came”) - my now best friend was her friend and I think I said like two words to her in the first few times she visited because I mostly stayed in my room. But she kept persisting and trying to talk to me. We speak every day now. My shyness has cost me a lot of what I wanted to do in my life though. From jobs I’ve wanted to dating, I’ve missed out on so much because I was afraid to talk. I think it stems from when my grandfather died (who raised me) I had full mutism for like a year and then that led to selective mutism. I hope you keep working on things, and feel better ❤
