- This is a tutorial of a hairstyle that is a really easy hairstyle to create but it looks amazing and really intricate. It works on all hair types but is especially great for kids with shorter hair that isn't long enough to pull into actual pigtails. It does take a little while to complete but you don't need to be able to braid or do anything other than part the hair and make ponytails. If your child is impatient or you don't have much time you can adapt this style to make less ponytails and it will still look great!

The fact your daughter hasn't thrown a tantrum in the first 5 seconds of grabbing her hair astonished me.
She doesn’t put up much of a fight but I try to make sure it doesn’t hurt and doing her hair isn’t doesn’t feel like a punishment. Plus I started messing with her hair all the time since she was born that’s all she knows :-)

Gotta start em off young! That is the key. I also like to put on my daughters fav show or let her use my phone which she loves because it’s literally the only screen time she gets in a day!

My baby has much shorter, curlier, hair. It isn’t too thick but she has a lot. She’s biracial too. This worked GREAT for the both of us. Had to do shorter sections which made it more time consuming but it looks great. It lasts long too. Thanks for posting this.

My daughter doesn't like to sit still. It doesn't matter if the tv is on, if she has something to play with, or a snack. She just doesn't like her hair done. I let her sit to watch this and she sat the entire time. Thanks for sharing :)

I'm halfway through doing my 2.5 yr old super curly headed, super fidgety girl's hair in this style. It's super cute, except the part is way off center bc she was moving so much. The pigtails are finished into four corkscrew curls bc that's how curly her hair is. Thanks for the style!
Getting the part in the center is one of the hardest parts 😩😩😩 and alllst impossible with a moving toddler 😅 but I’m sure it was still super cute! I loooove super curly hair - my youngest has curlier hair too and I put the corkscrew curls in and it’s soooo cute. Thanks for your support 🙏🏼

I've been trying to find some cute hair styles to do with my baby girl and I always have a hard time cause alot of the videos are for kids with long hair. I'm so happy that I found this one cause cause I've got a mixed baby too and I'm still trying to figure out what kind of products I should use so this video really helps me out alot. My little girl is named Lillian too so she definitely likes this video a lot.

My daughter’s hair isn’t quite as curly but I’m totally getting that paste to control those fly aways and try this hair style maybe as a messy bun or braided top nots. This is cool! Also, your daughter is really well behaved. You can tell you work with her a lot. You are a good mom!

I saw this style on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect for my daughters hair but wasn’t sure how to even start. Thank you so much! She’s going to her grandmas today and I don’t like sending her over their with her hair not done! She’s biracial and has super thick Afro hair where the back barely grows anything so I never know what to do to it to get it from falling out!

I don’t like to leave styles with a lot of tension in overnight because of breakage but also pulling on the scalp isn’t healthy. If you want to leave it in for a few days make sure not to pull the ponytails super tight and always cut the rubber bands out. I think rubber bands are ok but definitely be careful with them because they CAN cause breakage.
I LOVE how realistic your video is! I see all these other videos with mom’s doing their kid’s hair but they just stay perfectly still and idk how they do it lol my daughter is more like yours, loves to play around, move her head from side to side while I try to do her hair 😂

I know it’s a struggle! I started messing with her hair when she was a baby to get her used to it and I’m doing that again with her baby sister but even on a good day they wiggle and complain 😅

I use black rubber bands but always cut them out and don’t tie them too tight. There is always a risk of them breaking the hair.

Looks great, tried on my 2.5 year old daughter but she won't sit still longer than 5 seconds so... I manage to detangle her hair once a week in the bath, but she won't sit still for me to do a protective style. So rest of the week it looks pretty chaotic. I figure I'll just have to wait until she gets a little bit older :-(

Hello first time girl dad here. My 2 year old's hair is not very curly and pretty flat but long to her back mid back. Could I still use the Blue Berry stuff when I'm parting and styling her hair? I never thought of styling her baby hairs and it looks good. Still learning but I love the time I spend doing her hair. I'm still in pigtails and poor excuse for a braid but I am trying.

Yes I got these at Sally’s and they don’t pop but I know what you mean I’ve tried some from target that don’t last. The ones that break I think are better for the hair buttttt they don’t work so I use these and just don’t make them too tight and always cut them out instead of ripping them out
