WELCOME to YEREVAN, day 2! We start off by trying to find Lahmajun Gaidz, we did with the help of the owner and had the BEST Lahmajun ever with some of the best people we have ever met. Armenian's are so kind and hospitable! We then went on to see the Genocide Memorial which was a very difficult thing to see and to film! After that we went for a traditional Armenian dinner! What do you think of Yerevan so far?

Yerevan and Armenia is now on our list to visit. We ate at an Armenian restaurant in Prague and loved the food. And now we have a direct flight from Bulgaria (where we live) to Yerevan (thank you Wizz Air).

The Lahmajun looked delicious. We regret not going there when we were in Yerevan. The famliy who runs it are so welcoming. Harriet and I plan to go back soon. Hopefully, they will still be there another 30 years. Yerevan, Armenia should be on everybody's bucket list. It's foodie heaven. The Genocide Memorial is a must see. @dabble and travel......talking about armenian genocide........it was a genocide of 1.500.000 armenians, 500.000 greeks(especialy pontic part of turkey:the black sea shores of turkey and cappadocia and izmir city) and 250.000 assyrians(the nation of jesus)....my grand grand parents had to run away from smyrna(izmir city) in 1918 and they had to establish in Romania..brasov..here we have a small greek comunity of people who run away from turkey because of the genocide done by turks......is a movie called THE PROMISE that shows the ugly and sad story of 1918 genocide....turks still today never apologize for what happened ..that is why they are still persecuting kurdish people today,,,why people dont know anything about this genocide because america and UK are afraid that turkey which is a part of NATO will become friend of Russia and block the entrance from the aegean see to black see..so in this way america and uk are blackmailed by turks to never recognise the genocide and close the eyes when turks are killing kurdish peoplein syria and turkey...this is dirty politic my friends...
