    Confused about this situation/Video.
Why would a property owner carry vandalism coverage on this "type" of home - wouldn't that added premium + their deductible be more than the typical repair job from someone moving out? I'm actually shocked you can get that type of coverage on this type of property as well...
Are you billing for this inspection (or having them sign a contingency agreement) and what would a normal billing rate be for something like this..?
IE: In Roofing, we offer a free inspection, but "reporting/paperwork" is always extra from my end especially when submitting it to ins carriers to H/Owners to keep or lower their existing coverage. Free Inspection but Reporting is $399.

Thanks for your comment! Let me try to answer your questions: Vandalism is normally not excluded in most Open Peril Policies, which this policy is a Special Form. I do not bill separately for the inspection if I have been hired to represent the insured on the claim.

I saw nothing consistent with the claim of vandalism. Deny claim.

Hey Doug. Thanks for your comment, but did you watch the right video? What exactly would vandalism look like to you, if this wasn't that?

@@CommercialClaimsShow...my original reply (🪄disappeared) was a bit long, I'll admit, but thorough; damages inconsistent with "𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 destruction..."

@@CommercialClaimsShow...third time charm; let's find out. Jan. 6 incident give examples of vandalism; "graffiti; as well as defecation throughout the complex, on the floor and smeared on the walls..." Coverage should apply in such a case of 𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 acts...unless of course they were excluded elsewhere in the policy, such as #Intentional or #criminal #acts of or at the direction of any #insured person, if the loss that occurs: a) may be reasonably expected to result from such acts; or b) is the intended result of such acts." However, though the #CaptiolBuilding had no insurance coverage one wonders, even if it had, would the "war like acts..." exclusion apply. Here's a tid-bit of the affair, "The rioters caused extensive physical damage...Because the Capitol has no insurance against loss, #taxpayers #will #pay for #damage#suffered #during the #siege."
