I think the game is a massive improvement with the exception of SBMM....if you go to you challenges section where you go to settings in main menu you will be able to see all weekly and daily challenges after 25. FYI

By that, I mean them being a bunch of fucktards that treats Sledgehammer as shitty as the Community treats Sledgehammer. Activision-Blizzard abused their devs and employees and we are seeing that now with the quality of the games.
The number of times I’ve experienced “shoot first, die first” in just two days of playing is actually insane…seems like there’s some major hit reg issues, even on low ping
yup, I saw this in the beta and couldn't believe how bad it was. the game feels awful.
33 ping on avg. This game has terrible hit reg. The time you die vs the time you can kill someone else is very inconsistent.
I know what you're talking about. But if it's happening a lot, perhaps check your crosshair placement. It usually happens for me when somebody instantly dropshots and I don't notice

My MW3 experience so far:
Zombies is fun on day 1-3
Multiplayer was fun on day 1 but has been hell for the last two days.
Day one of MP:
4 hrs
1.8 KD
Currently on day 3:
KD dropped to 1.32
W/L is around 0.5
Last ten games at one point was literally 1 win to 9 losses and then I lost two more game afterward. The 1 win was due to joining a random game at the very end and I didn't even get a chance to play, yet it was counted as a win.
Last ten game W/L has been around literally 0.11 to 0.45
Basically: SBMM is putting me in lobbies where my team gets wrecked until I drop to around a 1.2 or less KD.
I am glad I stopped playing COD after Cold War, it's just not fun anymore

Same here. My lobbies are sweaty as hell the ttk is awful I shoot someone 17 times I die in two bullets. I had one game where it wasn’t as sweaty out the 30 plus played
@@EyyitsWolf Guess I shouldn't have done so good my first day cuz I'm literally getting wrecked and I've noticed it being not as bad as I go further down the K/D ratio ladder. Currently my KD is 1.29 and my last ten game W/L is at 1.0. So I'm getting more wins as my KD falls and that makes no sense
I just don't know why Activision don't remove SBMM. Since Modern warfare 2019 where it became more strict the player base bleeds players every year. I stopped playing call of duty because of it. I don't mind facing sweats, i have faced sweats since cod 4 but what i can't stand is the high ping lobbys i am getting because i have a kd around 1.8. While i played on a 20-40 ms ping on BO4 i had a hard time finding lobbys under 100ms ping in cold war. I miss connection based matchmaking.
Because it clearly generates more money for them. That's it. End.

Nothing against Sledgehammer because they didn't choose to get the short end of the stick from Activision, but that is what Activision decided should happen and honestly at this point I do feel bad for Sledgehammer because they get shit on by IW and Activision and gets often used as a Scapegoat and then they get a shit ton of undeserved hate from the community.

I loved the War Pigs reference. The countdown portion of the war mode is a reference to the final missions to cod4’s campaign where you’re trying to destroy zakheavs missiles before they hit their targets. You go to the same areas and even destroy the missiles midair like you do in the cod4 campaign. Super cool to see them pay homage like that. I really hope they do more cool references like that for other war mode maps

You can bypass the unlock system by finding the item in zombies and exfill with that item equipped. Its much faster and easier.

But the more I see of this game, the more it confirms that I’ve made the right decision in giving it a miss and waiting for 2024. Hopefully that will actually be a game rather than DLC. And a actual “zombies”mode, instead of DMZ with zombies on the map.

There is no chance in hades that microsoft will right the ship. Look at the last 2 years of releases from microsoft and you will be as depressed with current gaming as i am.
Hot take: Most OG mw2 maps dont work anymore. They have too much elevation, verticality and places you can get shot from.

The issues with the maps is the exact reason why shipment 24/7 was so popular in the last cod….because it was the only one which seemed relatively fast paced, where you could get more than 20-30 kills. Enjoyable.

SBMM is just total deal breaker for me. Glad to see that MW3 is going somewhat to a right direction but everything that game does right is just ruined by SBMM. Im the guy that comes home from work etc, I just want to relax and play couple of casual fun games little bit to wind down from days chores and not get sweaty and getting angry to a game. Last Cod I bought and played was MW2019 and that game had already bad SBMM and seeing that it is going to get worse and worse, I dont wanna pay 70 dollars for the game just get angry.

I'm not a fan of 150 health on Mp but I'd compromise at 125 health. 150 health should be left for WZ
I think armory unlocks is one of the stupidest things we have ever had in cod. Today when I went to do daily challenges one of my challenges was to get kills with the new breacher drone. The problem that I faced is that the breacher drone is locked behind armory unlocks so I was unable to unlock anything today.
If you look at the default classes, there’s one that has the breacher drone. You can use that.
I had that problem but yea I used the default class to get it. I think this system would have been fine if you could pick your challenges like in BO1.
Just go grab one in zombies and extract with it. You can do it with all your tacticals and lethals weapons etc
It _is_ an expansion to MWII, it’s a full price expansion. The campaign is half length, it uses the exact same client, the same UI, guns and attachments and camos and ‘bundles’ are still unlocked. They can call it a new game but it isn’t one.

The SBMM combined with needing wins for unlocks and me being a solo player is making me quit out games early when my team mates wont play OBJ. Surly happening a lot now and I cant see any fix for this unless they drop the wins needed for unlocks, because we all know there no way theyre dropping the SBMM

i want OG MW3 maps. im an old dude but my first cod was MW3. i was mostly just a NFS player until then. i know its just nostalgia but i really liked the MW3 maps for the most part and the DLC maps were cool too IMO
Just thought I'd share this. I'm on xbox and had trouble seeing my weekly challenges after level 25. But if you hit LB,RB and Y at the same time, there's like a 50% chance they pop up 😂 so try that on the equivalent console you have! It sounds nuts but it honestly works 😅

I figured out how to find your weekly challenges. Press start when you're in the multiplayer lobby. One of the buttons will be a "challenges" tab. When you open this, your weekly challenges will come up. Gotta love this UI 😂
Hey, Neros! Great video! In regards to what you said about weekly challenges disappearing at level 25, I thought the same but I found out they're actually just hidden away in a menu you have to get to by pressing the button with the six squares icon on the top right of your screen. Just another reason this UI needs to be changed.
Tip for anyone unlocking stuff via armory: Focus on perks, scorestreaks & field upgrades. Weapons & equipment can be extracted from zombies relatively easily
Edit- Also focus on whichever aftermarket parts are good (no clue which ones in particular but that pistol carbine conversion looks promising)

Got longbow, AMR9, MCW, Sidewinder, FR Avancer, Haymaker, Bruen MK9, from zombie extractions.
Can also use wallbuys and the mysterybox to get locked MW3 guns and even locked mw2 guns. I even found the sickle melee weapon from a mercenary convoy crate.

I've been enjoying the throwback maps, lots of memories. But I've been realizing they've failed to recreate the atmosphere of some of the maps. For example the sub map use to have a white out blizzard and you use to be able to hide in it, or underpass with the heavy rain and fog. I don't know... what does every one else think?

So torn about getting the game. The beta was fun and overall love how fast the gameplay with movement is.But don’t wanna pay 70 for it. Actually wishing the multiplayer was a live service model with updates.Also haven’t played a CoD since 2019

I picked it up my last cod game was cold war I'm loving the feel and pace of it so far. Yes sbmm is really sweaty I just ignore the fact and playing with friends makes it much better
Here's a little secret on unlocks. You can do different daily changes in zombies too. As well as weapons grenades tacticals scorestreaks. If you find them in zombies and then extract you unlock them permanently for free. Thought your viewers might like to know that. Also you need to be level/rank 25 before that will work I believe.
If you hit start in the lobby you can click on the challenges icon to view weekly challenges after level 25, took me a minute to figure that out!
That’s the problem with gun balance. Back in the days you played 3 games with a new gun and you were good to go, but now you need to invest 6 hours into one single gun to not be at a disadvantage…
SBMM feels crazy, but I think the armory system def has an impact on the base compete level, everyone needs Ws to unlock things.

At least on console, you can still access all those weekly challenges. It's hidden under the "start" menu within the HQ. It did take me a bit of digging, but you are correct once you unlock level it appears like they are in fact gone. Just got to dig a bit

My problem with multiplayer is if someone is behind cover, you are fucked! I am a decent COD player since 2012 and I just can’t win those gunfights anymore. It’s a brutal adjustment with the TTK.

They shot themselves in the foot with this unlock system. Veterans and sweats will research and understand that they need to do challenges to unlock the vetol. Casual players will not understand why they don't have a claymore, and simply quit playing because they are getting constantly violated by "sweats" using all the tools that the casuals don't have. LOL!

Sbmm/eom is terrible and feels worse than years past. The armory system is terrible (thankfully you can drop into zombies and exfil with gear/weapons etc to skip the armory), and the occasional hit reg and some bad spawns are rough. Overall though this is really the game we should have gotten last year. It may be a glorified dlc but it’s still fun to play. For me personally, even if I only play for 10 hours, that’s 7 bucks an hour, not a bad trade I would say.
You can exfil with weapons in zombies btw if that helps

I just got a daily challenge that’s no joke “Get 3 kills in a row without taking damage 10 times”. It’s like they actively don’t want people to progress and are giving mastery challenges as daily’s now.
Tip - You can still see daily/weekly challenges by pressing Start and selecting challenges
I honestly haven’t had any issues tbh, but I will say I don’t like the 150 health and campers, everywhere I see campers
The game is far better than MW2, especially considering the amount of time Sledgehammer had to spend on it. My only complaints besides from the bugs are SBMM, a few maps (including spawns) and the armoury challenge system.

Honestly the game is kinda fun. The game doesn’t deserve the hate. I actually like the way you level up your gun. It’s easier to get what you want. You complete 3 daily challenges to get coins and after you finish you have to win games to keep getting the coins. It makes your team actually want to play to win !

I love the gameplay but the SBMM is so strict
Noticing inconsistencies in health and hit boxes literally have a video of me lighting a guy up and I didn’t get a single hit marker
I unlocked ghost and man it makes a night and day difference. Except sometimes players seem to know EXACTLY where I am
SBMM is really already making this game unbearable. I’m also not fully convinced the TTK has increased with this new increased health. It always feels you die instantly
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the aim assist and I think it’s the same, but the difference isn’t the TTK, it’s SBMM manipulating the aim assist as well as bullet nerf and every other stupidness in SBMM

I do have at least one issue with the game besides sbmm and that is the score going to 75 on TDM. I swear with this fast ass paced game it feels like TDM only goes for a couple of minutes and poof that’s it so I would like sledgehammer to increase it to like 100 heck or maybe 150 to say the least.

I actually like the slower TTK. You actually have to aim in this game as opposed to MW2 where you die in 2 bullets and whoever shoots first always wins. Also solves the rampant camping issue and people playing "safe".

So for the challenge system! I think they should have made it like the BO1 contracts and have it so you can pick which challenges you want to do. Also the SBMM is obviously bullshit but I don’t care about my KD anymore since I’m doing these random challenges anyway. Also the camo challenges are also much better so props to whoever made those.

Good on you Nero. Yes this game is better than the last 3 imo too. So nice to be on big maps again. I don't even mind the armory unlock system though i can see how it wouldn't be great for those who only squeeze in a few hours here n there. A small touch I miss on HC is no final kill cam or play of the game replay.
I feel like the spawns are stickier but no one knows how to hold the spawns any more. Just see people trying to triple cap all the time.
Honestly love this game; the SBMM is thick for sure, but the movement has allowed me an effective counter to it. One of the best feeling CoDs in years; I love Black Ops 4, and honestly think I would place this one above it at the moment.

i honestly dont feel a difference in the SBMM it feels the same as last year, sure its sweaty as all hell but its been like that for 9 consecutive years at this point, the only time in COD i felt the SBMM actually turned all the way to a 10 was going from Ghosts to Advanced Warfare

It’s a good game for me personally I love the movement and of course the maps etc, I mean yeah the sbmm is annoying but if it’s a decent game and I’m liking it a lot I’ll just do my best to get better.

This is the first call of duty in awhile that I keep wanting to go back and play, I’m having a fun time. Have forged on ARs and Pistols half way done with battle rifles but the SBMM is a bit annoying but it’s whatever I don’t take it as serious as I use to so my KD is hovering around a 1.4
The daily armory thing is a little annoying. The main problem I’ve found is that you can have a challenge for a thing you are trying to unlock. Yesterday I had a challenge to get 2 breacher drone kills…by completing my 3 daily challenges I would unlock..the breacher drone.
for a modern cod (2019 to present), I think it is one of the best ones so far. We'll see how it goes long term, but initial impressions are much better than last year
Sledghammer hasn't had a single cod game they actually wanted to make which really sucks.
You can see the talent and care Sledghammer has, they just need to be allowed to make the game they want with an actual 3 year dev cycle.

I honestly love it! Movement is so much better! New guns are so good! Spawns are good, could be better! But way better then mw2! I can actually go one a nice streak and gain momentum kills, instead of having someone spawn behind me and kill whatever momentum I had.

As someone who touts how Black Ops 1 is their favorite CoD, you seem to forget that things were locked behind.... armory credits. Granted, they were easier to obtain, but you could get more for wins and completing challenges to get more credits.
In a lot of cases, you couldn't unlock them until you hit the level prerequisite...

I’m having tons of fun. I love this edition of zombies and multiplayer player is fun too. SBMM is present but idc for stats so I’m having fun
The fact that the re-release of nearly 15 year old cod maps has given us the best multiplayer maps in years shows the state cod is in. Really want to try this game out but I can't justify the $70 asking price.
Its terrible. SBMM and awful spawns ruin the old maps.
Also, the damn dropshooting is unbelievable
My Wkey has been permanently mashed in mw3 and that seems to work quite well

You can exfil on zombies with items on your person to unlock items without going through the armory system
Game definitely feels really fun. Movement is great, it runs really well for some reason, and it feels rewarding. Frustrating when shots don't register properly though and you get like 8 hit markers. But it reminds me of AW with the feedback noises, I love it. Worst part of the game (aside from SBMM) is the spawn system. They made it a simple system of if the enemy doesn't have direct line of sight of you then you can spawn there. Problem is that you'll spawn behind a tree or a bush even while the enemy is looking at it, so you spawn and move 6 inches and you're being shot already.
That's totally unacceptable IMO.
How are you gonna rush a game, no new maps, & the things that matter like hit register & spawn, are FUCKED?
@@ClickClack_Bam those are complaints you can have with most cods for the most part. They had 16 months. I don't blame them for just redoing old maps. It's fine by me. Plus we got meat, which is every bit as good as shoothouse
When I was looking at the Armory Unlocks, I think you might be a little off here. They're not locked behind it, but you can use the Armory Unlocks to get them unlocked faster. For example, one of my armory unlocks was the breach drone. It doesn't unlock until level 24 or 25, but if I do 3 daily missions I can get then by level 10 or earlier. If there is a weapon, or perk you want to use, this gives you the ability to get it earlier than having to grind all the way to level 25 or 30 to get it.
