Thanks for your great battle report 😍. That's my worst fear come true, having spent points on Demons which can't appear due to a lack of summoning points. I'd recommend including a Champion of Khorne riding a Juggernaut in order to guarantee some hits being dealt.
I miss the old berzerkers, wish I hadn't butchered them when I was younger ha! Still have the chaos dread in nightlords scheme too but in bits.. might have a root for it 😆

there's a design flaw with 2nd ed where the movement values for base troops are too low for a 4 turn game. I'm guessing they went with 4 turns as standard instead of 6 due to the firepower compared to 4th and 5th ed fantasy, but those games work better due to the 6 turns. True, there's generally not much left after 4 turns anyway, but if you play Squats or a Nurgle army, it's not even possible to cross no man's land in a 4 turn game, even if you're running!
So you played with half the points against Jay? I would say good fighting! Ans you do not really need demons. Just go Zerkers, kharn, bikes...SKULL FOR THE SKULL GOD!

Chaos could take chaos termie lord with 2+on 2d6 with a re-roll! and a 3+inv displacer field . Seems like you are taking it easy on the marine player by leaving him out.

I had planned to but only had 47pts to spend on wargear/rewards.Jumppack would have been better on a mighty champion
Summoning is such a double edged weapon, especially in competitive games. Take some cultists to shield the advance. Good game guys.

Yeah, I always found it odd. That is not the worst bit. You could roll for how many turns and end up with 3!!!
