Haha, I've only ever tried to bluff with 72 like twice maybe? And this is one is included in that count lol. Glad I didn't run into the nuts. I had no idea if I liked or hated that river card, which is the danger of playing that hand even for fun!

Come up and play the Kard Klub in Harker Heights. I've just found your channel, and I'll be down to Georgetown now that I see how many rooms are there. Kard Klub plays weird, and it has actually led me to watching poker vlogs for the 1st time in 20 years playing. I was looking for answers on how to manage these situations with multiple maniacs per table that I sometimes encounter at the Kard Klub.

Re that pineapple bomb pot - When you folded on the river, you took a $80 loss. If you had called the $404 bet and the third player called, you would have been in for $484 and won 1/4 of the $1512 pot or $378, thus losing $106. It's true that the third player could have had QT and you'd have lost $484, but he also could have had Trips or 2 pair and you'd have won half of the $1512 pot, netting $272. It was a tough decision and you took what felt most comfortable for you. In any event it was a good session. I play at GPC once in a while. Hope to see you there or the Lodge again soon.
Hey Andy, thanks for sharing your thoughts! Good breakdown on the hand. I didn't actually stop and break apart the math to that extent at the table, but it seems like we effectively would have been risking an extra $26 by calling, assuming we're not losing to both players. Hey man, glad to be back! Ash was really nice, and I'll probably be seeing more of her since she moved to Texas & plays at the Lodge quite a bit now.
I did see that Kyle is gonna be at GPC next week. I've got a standing spot in their Thursday night streams, but I don't know if I'll get to play this week's unfortunately. I know he's doing a Friday stream, not sure if he's gonna be in the Thursday one though. I'll try to stop by if I can though!

I got the impression that she liked her hand from the way she was betting, and I didn't think she was going to fold with the tell I was reading. I figured we were beat and didn't want try to push her off her hand only drawing to two outs.
Slow down a bit. Cadence. It sounded like you were in a rush and would use the same inflections on most sentences. Pretend you're sitting back having a beer with us. I had to stop at the 6:08 mark....
