I don't know if anyone else ran into a problem where the rotation belts go in the opposite directions. If that happens to you, simply invert the rotation speed controller at the the end, so instead of 128, make it a negative -128, that should invert every conveyor belt.
(Edited: Found a lil problem but solved it so imma leave it here so anyone making this can know. Also makes it 2 brass funnels cheaper.) Build is sick but we seem to have the same problem. Only one of our mechanical presses is working because only one of the basins is actually receiving enough Iron nuggets. Just found out you can swap the brass funnels coming out of the vault for andesite ones as no flint will go by since you already have the flint brass ones clearing that out, so the output in Iron nuggets goes 1 by 1 in each conveyor belt. Thanks for the awesome build and I hope this helps anyone that tries to build this.
@@gamerjohnbot Hmm, probably because you havent used a brass funnel in order to collect the gravel only after it has done washing. This is because making it more compact with horizontal+vertical gearboxes makes all the other belts that are at the front of the machine move in the wrong direction 3) I doubled the speed of the rotational speed controller closest to the power source (7:10) but ended up keeping the rotational speed controllers affecting the drills the same. I think it can handle a bit more (and so produce iron faster) but I found doubling it sent cobblestone flying off the machine and landing randomly on the floor. Still toying with it but maybe 10-20 points more is ok? 4) Using blazer burners is just as good as lava (so you don't need a protective floor/walls around them which is great for space!) 5) It may be worth just using a lot of steam engines+small steam tanks+unfed blaze burners over fed blaze burners as you don't then need to make a big farm to feed them and pipe the fuel to mechanical arms to feed the blaze burners so they never run out (and so stop the whole machine if you're using the steam engines to help bump their own water)

hey guys , for anyone wondering , the farm works great just saw a few comments saying after the build is complete only 1 side is working i also ran into this issue , the fix i found was simply replacing the brass funnels with the iron nuggets filter with andersite filters , that did the trick now both sides are working
thank you so much for this. I've been doing a solo run with the create mod and addons and Iron has been an absolute pain to find and I've had no luck with villages to do a normal farm. Since there's not really a manual for the mod I didn't even know you could was gravel for ingots but I have it everywhere.

This feels much faster than my Vanilla iron farm. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, a bit larger, but It's manageable and easy to power! Also, I put the funnel on the other side (The flint one) and collected the flint in a chest too, bcs Why not use the gravel you are producing ;)
As a tip since whilst using create you get mass amounts of items in farms I recommend using storage draws since after upgrading them each draw can hold millions of an item of your choice plus the compacting draw witch allows you to put let’s say an iron block in and you can pick between a block ingot or nugget.
Forgot to mention but you can make a Central storage room in your base and use draw trims draw controllers and controller slaves to send items frome your farms straight to you main storage area.

if you're playing in a modpack that has sophisticated storage u can use the compacting upgrade in a sophisticated storage barrel as an alternative for the mechanical presses. This farm worked really well for me thanks!
For purpose of saving space in storage I recomend setting an outgoing brass funnel at the basins and filter iron block. The press will first make ingots out of nuggets and then iron blocks out of ingots.
Awesome video, great break down. Never used create and this was the first automation I decided to go with, learned a lot doing the rest manual and excited to automate those next. Made an awesome room for the generator as well overall great video
Note, you can make use of the flint via an andesite farm. Made easier to transport with additional mods like storage drawers or similar, or the fun way- weighted projectors. To make andesite, you need 2 flint, 1 gravel and 100mb of lava pressed into a basin using a mechanical press. You might want two drills (and two mills) to make gravel and another lava farm for this though. Andesite is very useful and a pain to mine. I'll make a reply or edit once I made a good design as a branch off of this farm design. Unless Skeej has one already, but thats besides the point.
This is a nice design, and I really like how its symmetrical. Tho nuggets seem to only want to flow to the right side, not that there are enough of them to warrant the left side operating. Gets me roughly 9 nuggets every 20 seconds, so 180 Iron Ingots and hour. I've used 12 large wheels to power it.
using this in a 1.18.2 modpack where there aren't any waterlogged leaves or roots. I was able to use a trap door, the only thing is it will also put water on the block where the brass funnel is which doesnt seem to be a problem.
Pre-1.14 iron farms had higher rates than the newer ones, mostly because the new villagers are laggier, and the rate of iron golem spawning is now tied to the number of villagers rather than the number of villages which previously could be stacked. There were 1024 village iron farms pre 1.14 which simply isn't possible in post 1.14 due to lag.
totally gonna build this in my next world. pondering how to power it though...I guess some waterwheels for the fans, and maybe a windmill for the main machine?
As someone who has a the mod in there shared world, this will be insanely useful as gathering villagers n zombies are far too difficult for us to do, that and we installed horror mods (most of the group is composed of cowards, I am one of them)
Works completely fine, I was worried since other people didn’t get it to work. But, I hopped on creative, built it, and it works just fine! Thank you for making the video, this is going in my survival world! Edit: Forgot to mention I’m playing 1.20.1
How'd you get brass funnel attached into the vault to work and not collect the gravel immediately? All the iron and flint just collect at the entrance and nothing is heading toward the basins
ngl I'm just a huge sucker and don't like the idea of killing a bunch of iron golems for their iron, so I wanted a "cruelty-free" iron farm. I know it's just a game and such but I'm happy to know that there's a murder-free iron farm in Create even if it's a bit slower 😆
It seems like the iron nuggets get ejected out of the item vault from the left side only. So the right press isnt working at all. Does anybody know why?
I made a second level on top of this base to produce more gravel. I setup the same layout for the cobblestone and gravel generation above but the center belt is pushed one block to the front and is powered off the belts that feeds it gravel also reversed so the gravel drops down to the bottom belt on the part where It connects to the main drive. I have blocks around the backside to guide the gravel to drop down. The way I did it you can easily go multiple story's above
Dropping the items on the floor for the encased fans is brilliant , i was trying to solve the issue of the belt blocking up when i was making a washer and i never could
ont he lag part you can go for a more vault centere design (with millstone on top washing on back and compacting on side) vault are not only instantaneous but also much less laggy (belt are the biggest lag source along with fluid tanks on create)
i love the design, its actually modular so you could just make an adjustmen on the final barrel like puting a chute or something and have it copy and pasted vertically making a tower of these modules and they all converge to the same inventory at the bottom
You can optimise this a little bit if you have the drawers mod. Can just feed the nuggets into a compacting drawer, which will automatically allow you to pull it out as ingots or blocks.
What am I doing wrong? Everything works and turns the same way. The presses won't work. THe basin fills with 16 nuggets and stops working. Even turned the speed up but won't help. The basins always fill to 16 nuggets. Maybe too much to make ingots? Even tried a brass funnel with an iron block as a filter in the hope it would do that, but nothing. So now I got a nugget farm and need Thermal or Mekanism to turn them into ingots. Anyone got the same problem or a solution?
I was able to do this without mangrove roots or trap doors just place a sign in front of the conveyor that’s facing towards the brass funnel that picks up the iron nuggets
nice design but is it just me or only one of the compressor is working to make the ingot ? (to be more specific, the right side only functions, left side is sleeping.) How do i fix that?
Having the starting barrel (block) for reference is perfect I wish more people did that for tutorials
It's shocking how many people completely disregard the barrels.

Barrel X1
Water Bucket X10
Lava Bucket X10
Hope this helps :)
AWESOME IRON FARM and a Super helpful tutorial thank you!!
A simple well made tutorial, even a door can understand exelent work bro
Love all of your tutorials! Excited to see more of them and go back to playing create mod :D
Thank you for making this video! We just started a new world and I didn't want to have to wrangle villagers yet again
if you're playing in a modpack that has sophisticated storage u can use the compacting upgrade in a sophisticated storage barrel as an alternative for the mechanical presses. This farm worked really well for me thanks!
For purpose of saving space in storage I recomend setting an outgoing brass funnel at the basins and filter iron block. The press will first make ingots out of nuggets and then iron blocks out of ingots.
Another pro of this is that it doesn't make the most annoyingly loud sounds that a traditional iron farm would.
Thanks for a nice tut love it :) keep it up :)
I've used 12 large wheels to power it.
the fact that all the flint just gets burnt in lava instead of being stored somewhere else for future use hurts my soul
Me watching this after already building a regular massive iron farm:
dude this is by far the best create iron farm iv seen
Great and easy tutorial! Thanks!
For that material list, I don't actually know what some of the create items are. Could you edit the video to mention what each thing is?
Well done sir i love it quick and easy!
thank you! this was very helpful
thank you so much for providing the schematic!❤❤❤
I thinki can be a aronoutical engineer and mechanic in a same time 😅
Thanks dude
using this in a 1.18.2 modpack where there aren't any waterlogged leaves or roots. I was able to use a trap door, the only thing is it will also put water on the block where the brass funnel is which doesnt seem to be a problem.
I ran into the same issue lol thx
I tried but the both war is combining
Good vidéo thanks for your tutorial continue what you do
Pre-1.14 iron farms had higher rates than the newer ones, mostly because the new villagers are laggier, and the rate of iron golem spawning is now tied to the number of villagers rather than the number of villages which previously could be stacked. There were 1024 village iron farms pre 1.14 which simply isn't possible in post 1.14 due to lag.
Amazing tutorial :333
if your modpack has storage drawers, just use compacting one and input nuggets directly into it
Finally, a tutorial that is not that expensive.
So how would you recommend powering it?
>"You're gonna want this at the start of your run so I kept it optimized."
>"You're gonna need *5 ROTATION SPEED CONTROLLERS* "
im like 5 hours in and I have it :)
I luckily found 6 brass casings in a chest on the moon. Ahem im playing create astral and that is one crazy stunt I did
totally gonna build this in my next world. pondering how to power it though...I guess some waterwheels for the fans, and maybe a windmill for the main machine?
@@BlindSeancedid u figure this out I'm still having this issue
for the rotational complex how did you set it to -1
ngl I'm just a huge sucker and don't like the idea of killing a bunch of iron golems for their iron, so I wanted a "cruelty-free" iron farm. I know it's just a game and such but I'm happy to know that there's a murder-free iron farm in Create even if it's a bit slower 😆
That Barrel for the Iron and if possible you can add a more convenient storage like a storage drawer because it has upgrades.
12 lagrge water wheel with soul sand can power it. For these who want to do it in survival ;)
It seems like the iron nuggets get ejected out of the item vault from the left side only. So the right press isnt working at all. Does anybody know why?
maybe there isnt a nugget in the filter fot the right brass funnel?
I think imma just extend it with 12 or so millstones. True innovation
Good tuto, thanks !
Dropping the items on the floor for the encased fans is brilliant , i was trying to solve the issue of the belt blocking up when i was making a washer and i never could
Love your content! Just wondering if the waterlogged roots could be replaced by waterlogged leaves?
Probably! Youll have to try it out
maybe even waterlogged slabs
did it work?
Great design! Weird side question noticed you saying scu any chance you are also an star citizen player xD
ont he lag part you can go for a more vault centere design (with millstone on top washing on back and compacting on side)
vault are not only instantaneous but also much less laggy (belt are the biggest lag source along with fluid tanks on create)
Nicely done. I like.
i love the design, its actually modular so you could just make an adjustmen on the final barrel like puting a chute or something and have it copy and pasted vertically making a tower of these modules and they all converge to the same inventory at the bottom
Absolute champion, thank you.
'where generating lots amount of power may not be possible"
*me with my backrooms style water wheel arrays* "yeaaahhhhh."
Anyone got the same problem or a solution?
create iron farm 👍
survival friendly 👍👍
cheap(ish) 👍👍👍
very easy: godsend video
like aquired
My belts are going kn the wrong way? Do u know why?
I was able to do this without mangrove roots or trap doors just place a sign in front of the conveyor that’s facing towards the brass funnel that picks up the iron nuggets
Incredibly cool! I stole iron from a friend and built this solely so i could pay them back lol
nice design but is it just me or only one of the compressor is working to make the ingot ? (to be more specific, the right side only functions, left side is sleeping.) How do i fix that?
