It takes 12 large water wheels to power this farm for anyone wondering
How much ru is needed?
tysm, was wondering why 6 was not being enough
this comment section not only showed me how much i need in actual blocks to build this, but how to get the SU to run the machine
thank you good sir
I tried and its not working
Tysm😊
Having the starting barrel (block) for reference is perfect I wish more people did that for tutorials
It's shocking how many people completely disregard the barrels.
Here’s a list of everything you’ll need to make this farm (excluding tools like mixer, mechanical press, depot etc.).
Things that didn’t match up perfectly were rounded up so you’ll definitely have enough.
- Andesite: 478
- Logs: 120
- Kelp: 91
- Iron Ingots: 95
- Copper Ingots: 4
- Zinc Ingots: 4
- Redstone: 25
- Stone: 8
- Sand: 33
- Quartz: 3
- Wool: 1
- Mangrove Roots: 2
Thank you Kind Stranger! You have my appreciation! And Merry Christmas
not all heroes wear capes
thank you very much
Does this still work in the newest mc?
I hope everything in your life goes just the way you want it kind sir/ma'am/them.
Also mangrove roots are not obbligatory you can also use any type of leaves
You can use trapdoors instead of the mangrove roots if you can't find any
Or leaves; if you canʼt find leaves (or donʼt have enough iron for shears) you have bigger problems.
Yeah, the mangrove roots IS kinda a pesky thing; especially since the pack I'mma play is 1.16 and doesn't have any. but I was thinking a waterlogged stair might work? maybe the trapdoor on the bottom so the gravel slides across it's top?
@@TizonaAmanthia I thought enough changed about Create since 1.16 that this might not work there? Or maybe it would and you’d just need to power it differently and change the washing setup; not sure.
@@danielrhouck I don't know, honestly, but the pack is what I wanna play next, and it seems like it should work, since far as i know, it's always been a matter of duration, so we shall see.
You can use leaves, too. or even stairs
I uh misread the sign as 56K so I made a steam engine that produces 64K Su... only to come back and find out that it was 5656 Su
Good job at over achieving XD
9 vaults
34 shafts
10 cogwheels
7 large cogwheels
8 millstones
1 barrel
2 mangrove roots or stairs
20 andesite funnel
5 brass funnel
13 mechanical belts
10 gearshift
6 gearbox
2 encased fan
2 mechanical press
5 rotation speed controller
33 framed glass trapdoor
1 list filter (?)
2 bassins
1 clutch
forgot encased chain drivers and drills XD
you can also use leaves since those also can be waterlogged

@@gamersanofficialitzme You FARM MY MAN 👌
@@SamHockingTV sorry, ended up not doing it so I didn't correct myself thank you for doing it ❤️
Thanks for the video. I'm quite taken with the extreme symmetry of design. My only quibble is what you said in the end, as I have not found it difficult to construct a farm the size of yours which can turn out 700+ ingots/hr. I have to say that I really like your way of building and explaining things. I find it a great help. Thanks again and I look forward to the next build.
This is outstanding! Thank you for the material list and the tutorial how to build it. Great job. I can tell you put some time into your build and it shows!
Great tutorial, and an incredibly well thought-out setup. Genuinely almost artistic how compact and symmetrical it is.
I appreciate your tutorials. You show us how to build instead of just showing it and then saying here's a schematic.
Ahhh I LOVE this. It's Truly the Goldilocks of all the Create Iron Generator/Farms I've seen so far. 😊 And very customizable to boot! Going to see about working in a dump station, too. I went mining a week or so ago intentionally grabbing all the cobblestone gathered up while placing my train tracks. I have 4 shulkers bursting at the seams so wherever I can work this in will be tremendously helpful. THANK YOU!!
Would love your take on a multi floor elevator. Shalz had a good one that didn’t limit the distance between floors, and using analog levers you could have up to 15. Unfortunately he only provided schematics.
I love when I find a YTer that I want to subscribe to :) excited to see more
Thanks for the awesome tutorial! I play on a server and have been annoyed how every farm I have works offline other than my vanilla iron farm. This fixed that issue :) thank you!
Well, you've just earned a new subscriber. Very well explained and a great little farm. Many thanks!
Another perfect tutorial. Congratulations!!!!!
I don't know if anyone else ran into a problem where the rotation belts go in the opposite directions. If that happens to you, simply invert the rotation speed controller at the the end, so instead of 128, make it a negative -128, that should invert every conveyor belt.
THANK YOU!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN
you are a life saver i was about to rebuild the whole thing
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Thank you! I was losing my mind
muito obrigado, você é muito bom explicando!! continua assim :D
Thank you for making the schematic/world/farm downloadable this makes it so much easier.
I recently started a survival on the modpack "create flavored" and i had no idea how to make an iron farm, I thought about making a vanilla one but since I'm playing on create I want to make a create one and this tutorial is really helpful, thank you so much. Great video!
Can I ask where you found Create Flavored? I have looked it up and I can't seem to find a download anywhere...
@@flapjaaakit was hacked the other week so you need to Google search it and it's occurred forģe
It's on CurseForge, probably hidden since it's on an older version I think. Also a vanilla iron farm wouldn't work as the villagers create clay golems (which are significantly weaker) than their vanilla counterparts in the modpack.
Thank You for showing materials needed first, that helps a lot!
Doing some great work here! great design, lovely tutorial! im yoinking this.
thank you so much for this. I've been doing a solo run with the create mod and addons and Iron has been an absolute pain to find and I've had no luck with villages to do a normal farm. Since there's not really a manual for the mod I didn't even know you could was gravel for ingots but I have it everywhere.
thank you! this was very helpful
thank you so much for providing the schematic!❤❤❤
AWESOME IRON FARM and a Super helpful tutorial thank you!!
I was questioning the gravel just getting chucked on the ground, but I see now, that's really clever! I'll have to use that to make some of my builds more efficient
Hey this is a bit late but I did want to mention probably the most important early game builds for create are this, an ore crusher, and perhaps a simple lava farm once the iron farm produces enough iron for cauldrons
Awesome video, great break down. Never used create and this was the first automation I decided to go with, learned a lot doing the rest manual and excited to automate those next. Made an awesome room for the generator as well overall great video
i love the design, its actually modular so you could just make an adjustmen on the final barrel like puting a chute or something and have it copy and pasted vertically making a tower of these modules and they all converge to the same inventory at the bottom
Well done sir i love it quick and easy!
Love all of your tutorials! Excited to see more of them and go back to playing create mod :D
Good vidéo thanks for your tutorial continue what you do
clearly put in alot of effort into the design well done
A simple well made tutorial, even a door can understand exelent work bro
Absolute champion, thank you.
if you want to upscale this I highly recommend ditching the millstones and replacing them with a shute that goes into grinding wheels going at a highspeed, did this on my own iron farm design and it definitely felt better
Then you would need brasss and this a beginer build
@@user-vy5jg9lj8c This build already needs brass because of the funnels
@@user-vy5jg9lj8cBro you already need brass for the brass funnels…
@@user-vy5jg9lj8c the build in the video uses brass, it's not a beginner build!
dude this is by far the best create iron farm iv seen
Good tuto, thanks !
Nicely done. I like.
Thanks for the tutorial.
This feels much faster than my Vanilla iron farm. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, a bit larger, but It's manageable and easy to power!
Also, I put the funnel on the other side (The flint one) and collected the flint in a chest too, bcs Why not use the gravel you are producing ;)
huge thanks for the tutorial, but the amount of waterwheels for this design is just insane...
for those wondering, after some math, it produces about 144 ingots per hour (1 ingot every ~25 seconds 60/25 ~2.4 per min, 2.4x60 = ~144 per hour)
on my least efficient run it produced about 52 ingots per hour. (~52-144 ingots per hour)
totally gonna build this in my next world. pondering how to power it though...I guess some waterwheels for the fans, and maybe a windmill for the main machine?
One of the things that I wish was shown in a lot of these tutorials is how the actual rotational force in being generated for such a compact build.
i used around 20 water wheels, im insane
A windmill would have been better.
I don’t see anyone talking about this, but you actually don’t need any drills to break cobble stone. You see, when contraptions become disassembled they will break any block that is inside them, so you can just have a straight line of chassis attached to a bearing rotating at 1 rpm. push the cobblestone into the chase and stop the bearing and it will break the cobblestone. this method take no su, and breaks faster than any drills
Thanks for your videos and tutorials.
Can you also do one video about andesite alloy farm ?
To fix the issue on flint and iron nuggets not getting on the brass funnel, just add a list filter and set the gravel to deny, set it on the brass funnel instead of gravel, and now the flint and iron nuggets can now go through. I only notice the problem when i backtrack on the video and notice that i put the gravel on the brass funnel instead of the filter. Now i finally have a working iron farm...
this machine using brass funnels
to make brass in create you need to go to a nether fortress to capture a blaze,
and use it in a mixer.
it's for a much later stage in the game
and you need iron in very early stages of the game.
i would suggest to swap that collect system for something else like hoopers and chest
it works bro tysm
Pre-1.14 iron farms had higher rates than the newer ones, mostly because the new villagers are laggier, and the rate of iron golem spawning is now tied to the number of villagers rather than the number of villages which previously could be stacked. There were 1024 village iron farms pre 1.14 which simply isn't possible in post 1.14 due to lag.
You just saved my life in a zombie apocalypse thank you.
Finally, a tutorial that is not that expensive.
using this in a 1.18.2 modpack where there aren't any waterlogged leaves or roots. I was able to use a trap door, the only thing is it will also put water on the block where the brass funnel is which doesnt seem to be a problem.
ont he lag part you can go for a more vault centere design (with millstone on top washing on back and compacting on side)
vault are not only instantaneous but also much less laggy (belt are the biggest lag source along with fluid tanks on create)
That Barrel for the Iron and if possible you can add a more convenient storage like a storage drawer because it has upgrades.
(Edited: Found a lil problem but solved it so imma leave it here so anyone making this can know. Also makes it 2 brass funnels cheaper.)
Build is sick but we seem to have the same problem. Only one of our mechanical presses is working because only one of the basins is actually receiving enough Iron nuggets. Just found out you can swap the brass funnels coming out of the vault for andesite ones as no flint will go by since you already have the flint brass ones clearing that out, so the output in Iron nuggets goes 1 by 1 in each conveyor belt. Thanks for the awesome build and I hope this helps anyone that tries to build this.
You're a godsend, was having this exact same problem and this fixed it
create iron farm 👍
survival friendly 👍👍
cheap(ish) 👍👍👍
very easy: godsend video
like aquired
Couldn't get this to work as the fans wouldn't wash the gravel to produce iron nuggets. So great gravel farm 👍
How will it work
If there's no blue particles in front of fans then there's no washing processing. Разбирайся с этим сам.
@@Necktonthefirst у меня работает, но есть проблема, кусочки железа подаются только в одну сторону к прессу, а во вторую сторону не подаются, как быть
Just spent a whole night building this to have this problem
@@Majinwuu47 me too brother
Great design! Weird side question noticed you saying scu any chance you are also an star citizen player xD
This is a nice design, and I really like how its symmetrical. Tho nuggets seem to only want to flow to the right side, not that there are enough of them to warrant the left side operating. Gets me roughly 9 nuggets every 20 seconds, so 180 Iron Ingots and hour.
I've used 12 large wheels to power it.
I think imma just extend it with 12 or so millstones. True innovation
This reminds me to play Create:Astral.
You can optimise this a little bit if you have the drawers mod.
Can just feed the nuggets into a compacting drawer, which will automatically allow you to pull it out as ingots or blocks.
Works completely fine, I was worried since other people didn’t get it to work. But, I hopped on creative, built it, and it works just fine! Thank you for making the video, this is going in my survival world!
Edit: Forgot to mention I’m playing 1.20.1
How'd you get brass funnel attached into the vault to work and not collect the gravel immediately? All the iron and flint just collect at the entrance and nothing is heading toward the basins
@@BlindSeancedid u figure this out I'm still having this issue
thanks, had to bungle the numbers on the speed things a bit, so i could run it without blazes, but works great otherwise. maybe a tad slower
if your modpack has storage drawers, just use compacting one and input nuggets directly into it
Hey just a word of advice if you are building underground the stones dimensions are 13 front/ back 14 sides
pretty good
Works like a charm on 1.20.1.
So how would you recommend powering it?
For that material list, I don't actually know what some of the create items are. Could you edit the video to mention what each thing is?
Love your content! Just wondering if the waterlogged roots could be replaced by waterlogged leaves?
Probably! Youll have to try it out
maybe even waterlogged slabs
did it work?
Me watching this after already building a regular massive iron farm:
Amazing
Is there a good replacement for the item vaults? Im in a server that doesnt seem to have this item
I love the video it helped me a lot thank you. I only have a problem with I dont know how to put the speedometer on - 1 I can only do 1
did u find out how to do that , bcs i have the same problem bro
The tutorial is amazing, only bad things i could say is the simetry isnt really that necesary and the mangrove blocks have absolutly no use, but good tutorial
For anyone having trouble with finding mangrove roots, you can waterlog stairs that are facing the vault. It will work exactly the same.
Or just leaves
It doesn't the 2 stairs create an infinite source of water that waterlogs the brass funnel as well
@@Exorbulla No? Have you built this thing yet? The water is stopped by the brass funnel (which cannot be waterlogged).
@zellenny1784 I have built it and the brass funnel keeps getting waterlogged, the only solution I see to this is to just put the water in front of 1 fan and block up the other fan so that I only have 1 water source
@@Exorbulla Replace the stairs with a trapdoor, place it so that it's keeping the water from flowing out, the trapdoor shouldn't block the fan. Though if the funnel doesn't block the infinite water generator you should be able to use leaves just fine I think?
You might be able to place the stairs against the funnel instead, so that water doesn't flow that direction, not certain if the fan is blocked by that or not.
I was able to do this without mangrove roots or trap doors just place a sign in front of the conveyor that’s facing towards the brass funnel that picks up the iron nuggets
Is there any way to make an automatic fish farm with a deployer or something to collect loot like the fish farms that were all the rage back in 1.16??
You can just use leaves instead of mangrove roots. Mangrove Is sometimes hard to find.
I feel like this is a dumb question. Do you have to be in creative mode? I'm fairly new and playing in my friend's realm and I cannot figure out how to make or acquire the stuff I need like the belts and the gears.
This is the perfect Create design for heavy OCD minecrafter like me! Huge thanks to you man!
It doesnt NEED to be symmetrical to work, but the symmetry gives me serotonin so I must
If your belts got inverted you can put -128 instead of 128 on the Rotation speed controller
you saved my ass ty
W damn comment tysm
Any chance we could see the half-size version you mentioned from an SMP server?
I've been playing around with this design and noticed a few things:
1) use a steam engine, possibly powered by blazed burners as you need roughly 16 300 su to power this thing, at least if you do what I did in the points below (my 3x3x9 steam tank with 2 water pipes going in could handle around 98 300 su with 9 blaze burners feed with coal but I've only got one steam engine attached to it at the moment and so only that roughly 16 300 su was actually being provided to power the whole thing)
2) If you want to make those presses move faster, remove the cogs from the rotational speed controller and use a belt + rod thingy + horizontal gear box to connect the outermost rods to the presses. This is because making it more compact with horizontal+vertical gearboxes makes all the other belts that are at the front of the machine move in the wrong direction
3) I doubled the speed of the rotational speed controller closest to the power source (7:10) but ended up keeping the rotational speed controllers affecting the drills the same. I think it can handle a bit more (and so produce iron faster) but I found doubling it sent cobblestone flying off the machine and landing randomly on the floor. Still toying with it but maybe 10-20 points more is ok?
4) Using blazer burners is just as good as lava (so you don't need a protective floor/walls around them which is great for space!)
5) It may be worth just using a lot of steam engines+small steam tanks+unfed blaze burners over fed blaze burners as you don't then need to make a big farm to feed them and pipe the fuel to mechanical arms to feed the blaze burners so they never run out (and so stop the whole machine if you're using the steam engines to help bump their own water)
i just add create crafts and additions and mekanism to the mix and create a forge energy powered abomination
ngl I'm just a huge sucker and don't like the idea of killing a bunch of iron golems for their iron, so I wanted a "cruelty-free" iron farm. I know it's just a game and such but I'm happy to know that there's a murder-free iron farm in Create even if it's a bit slower 😆
sick
I’m using a mod pack with this and there’s blocks that are basically sources in cages (water, lava, haunting, etc) so I don’t need mangrove :D
Definitely going ot use this, though i do wonder if there's a way to keep the flint
instead of lava you could put flint outside of those filters
for some reason my brass funnel would take the gravel immediately, even with the filter, so i found a workaround
reset and replace your brass funnel, making sure it is facing inside of the vault
place an iron nugget in the item frame part of it
now the gravel will not go in, and instead will be washed into flint or iron nugget
now only flint remains but at least it's taking in iron nuggets, which is what you're after anyway
You can strap on another 2 fans to wash the gravel from above and below.
can u do a gold farm tutorial pls
@Skeej_inc I'm confused at your use of the rotational speed controller at time 7:23 , it seems you are adding the creative motor to the large cogwheel which is supposed to be the output speed part of the controller? You set it to 128 but that would mean that the large cog wheel on top is going to go at 128rpm. Is this a mistake or does the rotational speed controller work both ways?
Speed controllers work both ways! You can power the top or bottom piece with an input the the other half gets set at the RSC’s output speed :)))
@@skeej_inc Thanks, I didn't think you'd made a mistake ;-)
nice design but is it just me or only one of the compressor is working to make the ingot ? (to be more specific, the right side only functions, left side is sleeping.) How do i fix that?
if you want, you can trade flint to emeralds by villigers
'where generating lots amount of power may not be possible"
*me with my backrooms style water wheel arrays* "yeaaahhhhh."
the fact that all the flint just gets burnt in lava instead of being stored somewhere else for future use hurts my soul
