The first time I watched the movie it was with my friend who was like "oooh, Zac Efron, let's watch." and I was like, "You know this about Ted Bundy right?" and she literally said "who?", until then I always thought everyone over the age of 15 knew about him and other serial killers like Dahmer, and Manson. The idea that there are people, especially young girls who don't know of these men and their heinous crimes honestly worries me.

The name Ted Bundy doesn't invoke serial killer when I hear it. It makes me think of a Colonel Sanders and KFC or Ronald Mcdonald and Mcdonalds. I feel like Bundies would make great Hamburgers.

there’s a whole documentary on netflix about ted bundy, i watched it before the movie which is called Conversations with a killer : the ted bundy tapes, had never heard about him but was a well done documentary ( talks about everything in details etc ) also felt very creeped out and scared ab sleeping after watching that ( watch during day😂)

Her most famous book was The Stranger Beside Me which tells how she actually became friends with Bundy when they worked together on a suicide hotline service. And-I don’t think he was that good looking or that brilliant.it was such a travesty that he was allowed to represent himself in court and have the opportunity to question and intimidate the woman who was the only woman who ever managed to get away from him.
I’m a professional magician. I work at the magic castle, cruise ships etc, another magician friend was good friends with Bundy and taught him magic for his clown show. They corresponded until the end. This magician even has some of his paintings. I’ve seen the letters and paintings. Disturbing but weirdly fascinating. Also: I really do love your Channel btw. Was never a good sleeper and you’ve aided that in a big way for me. I can survive my 5 year old armed with more sleep. I owe you for that! :)

For some reason, it seemed that I missed your Zodiac Killer one so I watched it a few days ago and at the end you mentioned the movie Zodiac, made in 2007, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo. I have to say that I immediately watched it, as it must have been one of the most interesting (to me) cases that you covered. I so highly recommend it and I think I'll be watching it again. But now that you recommended this one on Netflix, I know what I'm doing later again! 😂 With my anxiety, I never thought I could listen to true crime - I always hate it when my partner's dad is watching it on TV, but there's something about the manner it's told in when it's ASMR and when it comes from you. I find it so much more bearable and I don't have nightmares 😂 Thank you for another true crime video and I am looking forward to more 😍

For a murder mystery could you do the murder of Catherine Cesnik. I think it’s very interesting and it is a Netflix show called “the keeper” I believe so. It’s not common but then again it was a big case.

Great job again Sam. When I was a kid in the early 80's, there was a killer creeping around my area of British Columbia,Canada. I remember everybody being on edge. His name was Clifford Olson. After his arrest he made a deal with the law to tell them where to find bodies at $10,000 each, payable to his wife and child. His wife was paid $100,000, and the 11th body was a freebie.
If you watch the Ted Bundy tapes, he himself says his grandfather was his father. He also suffered severe abuse at the hands of his grandfather as a young child. Its also believed that the reason he never confessed to the murder of Ann-Marie Burr was because it was his first murder and it was ‘personal’ to him. The connections are pretty intense. His life could have been so different. He was extremely smart. Had he had the ability to form any type of meaningful relationships or bonds he may not have ended up being so evil.
