    Good video. Will get this done soonish. Hope it helps reduce the metal on metal noise I hear.

    I have 3 of these kits and I have been setting the valves at .003 with no problems. One is a problem child that I will try your settings on. My top performer I shaved the flywheel key.003 and it out does the others.

    good job mate. but i suggest to not take that spark plug out until you have to and then reinstall as soon as you can.

      friend I'm Brazilian and I can't understand which millimeter he used in the exhaust and intake?

      @adamcolbertmusic Год назад

      @@daliwsplays8973 intake is 0.004in or 0.10mm, exhaust is 0.006in or 0.15mm.

      To original commenter, yes, this explains it! I have a relatively new engine, have not rode lots, maybe 100 miles if even that much on very short 2-3mile joyrides. Spark is excellent. Carburetor totally cleaned. Bike ran recently and ran perfectly. I was doing yard work and decided to have my bike idling in the garage so that it would be warmed up if I decided to take a break and cruise. Mysteriously died out like within a minute of idling and never restarted. After checking spark, 2 times cleaning the carb, and even replacing the (turned out shabby) OHV gasket, I thought it must be a compression issue.... but how?? Perhaps a piece of gasket got sucked into the valve and stuck/charred in between where the valve seats?? I initially opened the OHV cover, not to check the gasket which indeed needed replaced, but to check that a valve wasn't stuck open somehow. Well, my valve intuition is correct it seems..... it would make sense that my new engine is broken in enough that one or both of the valve springs have shrunk, so now there is too much play at compression stroke top dead center! This makes sense!!

    Make more videos, also do you ride your bike a lot?

    • @joemumma5058
      @joemumma5058  2 года назад

      Yes, I ride it to and from work 5 days a week. It has unfortunately spun a bottom end bearing a couple dsys ago has done damage beyond what I can repair. But it has served me very well.
