Six Flags Over Georgia With Dennis!

- For our first full day in Atlanta together, Dennis and I went to Six Flags Over Georgia (after going to Waffle House of course)! We arrived shortly after the park opened, picked up our tickets, and set off into the park to explore! I believe I last visited Six Flags in middle school, so the ability to re-experience the park was exciting! Dennis and I rode virtually every ride we wanted to with minimal wait times, only encumbered by occasional technical difficulties and weather delays. Our first ride was a moderate coaster called Dahlonega Mine Train, followed by a couple rides on the Monster Mansion boat ride, the vintage car Hanson Ride, the Great American Steam Machine wooden coaster, Justice League: Battle For Metropolis (after a brief trip into Hurricane Harbor), and then Superman: Ultimate Flight and Blue Hawk before watching the Shenaniguns Comedy Wild West Show. We walked over to the Thunder River water raft ride, but decided to focus on the major thrills for the rest of our visit, so we went to Gotham City to ride Batman, and then ended our trip with a ride on Goliath and the Georgia Scorcher before the inclement weather closed the rides for the afternoon. Dennis and I decided to try to beat the rain back to the car, and went to dinner at the Best End Brewing Company, with some ping pong at a bar called Church near Dennis's apartment. We had an absolutely incredible day, and had just as action-packed adventures planned for the rest of the trip. Thanks for watching and I'll see you soon!

We’d been calling and texting each other about it for weeks, and then I had to try to time and communicate their arrival to Atlanta (they were stuck in traffic) with our departure from Six Flags and wherever Dennis wanted to have dinner. It was involved, but the payoff was worth it!

I always like watching videos with Dennis in it. Seems like a really cool guy. I just watched one last night about the Fast and Furious ride....couldn't ride Hagrid's, but at least he got to ride Fast and Furious :D

Monster mansion used to be tales of the okefenokee which, if I remember correctly, was the basis for Tony Baxter for splash mountain.
I live in Georgia but haven’t been to Six Flags in over 15 years. So much has changed, but some that hasn’t (like Monster Mansion…I hated that as a kid! 😂)
I always enjoy seeing Disney/Universal people go to other amusement parks. That Monster Mansion ride looked weirdly awesome.

I remember in 2018 on the monster mansion, my older brother who is like 6’3” 200 pounds, sat on the right side of the car, and the car was like tilting the entire time

Roy, that is a typical visit to WDW for me and my daughter......,me following behind her as we ping pong back and forth across the park SEVERAL times with me trying to convince her we need food only to have her say NO until it gets to the moment where I'm about to pass out! LOL! Great surprise from your parents. At first I was, wow that lady looks familiar Ohhhhh.....LOL!
This was so EPIC! I watched bc Six Flags over Georgia is my home park and was initially watching for the coasters but instantly felt attached to you guys and enjoyed the surprise!!! Little did I know I’d be subscribing to a new channel! Awesome channel!!!

When I first went to seaworld in June we only rode manta and the people who were in the row with us said it was just like Superman and that we'd be fine (my mom said "oh sh**" repeatedly the whole time 😂😂😂)

Hey Roy I’m from Atlanta and I meet you at Disney last year. You guys need to go to the vortex, ponce city market rooftop,Ga aquarium, botanical gardens. Those are great places to visit here.

It wasn’t on purpose! The weather rolled in (and I had to coordinate meeting up with our parents to surprise Dennis)! Just gives us an excuse to go back in the future!
