I hope they add some sort of eclipse event in game, maybe like every 8 minutes or so the sun eclipses for a minute or two and that has some effect (perhaps all players become more vulnerable, new temp objective on the map)

really awesome video, great format and editing c: having the sunset in the skybox might help you easily spot which side of the map you're on when spectating actually. i really like that they're leaning into adding some warm hues to the environment while still keeping it desaturated

Small note: I think 8:05 change to backdoor protection is not to make backdoor more difficult, but to avoid defending teams from abusing the backdoor protection while defending. A geist in defense could clear the wave from afar, thus triggering the BD protection while the attacking team had their lane pushed enough to be in their right to take tower
7:20 - Sliding on the stairs already was not a strategy for a long time. They actually increased the range, because before you had to be beyond the zebra, really close to the guardian.
maybe it sounds very demanding, but I hope that in an update the characters will have facial animations, like the classic valve games, it's a very characteristic detail of valve games. off topic, the clothes in this game are amazing.

I can't wait to play Holiday because the meme potential is so good, I quite like Calico too. I love the urn changes, because most of my matches is that it doesn't really matter if you get rejuv if both team are quite equal. It's the amount of soul that in the end matter the most and the team that manages to get most urns always wins IMO.
What are you talking about lol. Urn is important but rejuv gives you super strong pushing power so you can easily end game and removes any risk from doing it because even if you get wiped you'll respawn too fast for the enemy to do anything with the wipe.
I'm digging the graphics update here, game appears to be heading in the right direction on many fronts. Please keep the good stuff going. I hope they manage to slowly grow this game into something even better
Two pieces of advice: 1. Who showing the AP grant removal from walkers/shrines/patron, keep the "no longer grants souls" as a whole setence, splitting it left and right makes it reads that shrines dont grant AP, but Patrons do. 2. When showing map changes, I see blue and orange in the corner and then you say "York." The map is confusing enough, it would be nice to see a minimap on the side showing the actual locations than trying to remember which lane is which color while parsing the three colors being thrown at my via audio/visuals.
Am i misremembering that we used to be able to recall the statues, as Calico? I think they should bring that back; If the statue dies, make the cooldown longer, but give us a refund on part of the cooldown if we recall before it dies.
it actually makes sense as a comeback mechanic now. When ahead you have to run deeper into enemy territory. When behind you can retreat into allied territory.
Can someone explain the backdoor changes to me? Im just not understanding what they mean. I dont associate backdooring with using ranged spells to stall? Im just utterly confused and I feel like it should be obvious but Im just not operating at 100% for this one
The wording is a little confusing. I believe what they meant is that troopers will disable backdoor protection from farther away. You could clear waves with Seven's orbs, Ivy's kudzu, etc. from really far away without putting yourself in much danger. But now that's less useful for defending objectives because the backdoor protection gets disabled more easily and stays disabled for longer.
im not really a big fan of the time of day changes, in my opinion it makes everything harder to see, performance also tanked quite a bit and im playing at the lowest settings with fsr on performance lol i will say that on the highest settings it does start to look pretty even if i was already quite used to the placeholder graphics,
not gonna lie i always thought shivs knives were giant icicles. they looked nothing like a knife so i just thought there was an item or ability that i didn't know that threw giant comical icicles at players.
New shaders lost the gloomy noir. I also hate how overly saturated the colors look. The performance also got worse, especially when heroes start using ults. Only in this patch that I experience this.
I love the new aesthetics for color and atmosphere. Mo and Krill is imo the worst looking character model in the entire game roster. Edit: I wanted to add your presentation is fantastic for the notes and changes. I really enjoy this format so much.

With Siv and Yamato changes please refer to it as blinking, not teleporting In dota those are very different things, and code wise Deadlock seems the same. Mirage ult = teleport Warp stone = blink Valve needs to clarify the language

I'm pretty sure the patch note was referring to the guardian attacking the player, and not the player attacking the guardian but he misunderstood it.
