Awesome, I am a HR professional , this is soo interesting and I am looking to move to Canada. Amazing. I finally got someone we have things in common with.
As long as nay Ottawa...I dey come...I must bring kulikuli and Garri ijebu for you both. I am beginning to see a pattern...A lot of RUclips videos from Ottawa that I have been seeing are produced by happy couples unlike those of others from other cities/province. I'm beginning to form an good opinion that Ottawa is the best city for couples and families.
You guys are so cute together! I just enjoy watching you guys being candid! After leaving across continents! For me going abroad, is like going into comfortable slavery! I work for myself in Nigeria! I don't need that stress of systemised living. I can work 6 months and relax another 6 months! At this stage of my life, I don't need any unnecessary stress.
My favorite couple. No wonder I like you. I plan of doing hr in my master should I go for public administration either am confused of this two courses. Which do u suggest . I plan to do it in Canada . Pls advice. Which is more lucrative in Canada.
Hello, you can check out this website Talent.com it’s a good resource to see average pay for different roles in different provinces. You can also check google for other resources and compare.
Hi, can I connect with you? I’m in the HR/Recruitment industry and currently in the express entry. Currently have a CRS score of 481, people say my industry is not in demand so I seem disadvantaged. Any advice for me? Thank you
@@lilyyowsah hello, I’m not exactly sure why you mentioned your CRS Score but just to be clear, you don’t need to get a job before you come to Canada. If you are talking about getting a job when you arrive then I suggest you try first before coming to that conclusion. You may be lucky. I know people who are currently in that industry and one that even got it before landing in Canada. However, I do recognise that HR may be hard to get into because they believe you need to be familiar with their labour laws and their people. I’m not sure this applies to recruitment though. Another thing you can do is to learn another skill. I had some experience with change management which is why I got my current role. You can go into data analysis, project management or tech. You can develop that while job searching so that if maybe after a year of no luck you can try getting a job in a different industry.
@@LifestylewithJadesola I mentioned my score because it is considered low now and I know perhaps if I get a job I can boost my score. Anyways thank you for responding to my message. I appreciate it a lot. I will try to learn other skills.
All points are valid. That’s how I got mine on the 4th week of landing!

@@lilyyowsah oh fair enough. It’s not very easy to get a HR job before coming. For score boosting French is your best bet as far as I know.
