    Whodini definitely brought The MAJIC!!
    Met Ecstasy in Lake Charles Louisiana concert. Very down to earth . Believe in or not this man took out time to listen to me talk about The Lords goodness🙏 He had just performed and I’m sure he was tired but he took out time just to let me minister to him about The Lord. Now he’s With The Lord R.I.P Humble soul.

      @@anthonytaylor7928 because they would slept on they wasn't they wasn't given the credit they deserve even when they was alive they had to present themselves to become known for what they did no one paid attention to Houdini you actually if you used to ask a young person or ask a person who listen to old school music who do is who Danny the first thing they say I never heard of them before I've had people grown say I haven't heard them before so when you ask this question this is irrelevant because they're all a lot of people who don't even know who they is that listen to Hip Hop they don't even show them when they posting them on social media it took a lot of fans to stress out about who who their favorite Entertainer rap group was for the peoples to say oh okay yeah we going to put them on the post I see a lot of rappers called greater rappers of old times who wasn't even there in the old times so why you asking an irrelevant question about why do people say they were slapped on pay attention they was not even notice that when they finally got their representation and they start doing tributes for them it was after they said oh who didn't shut off oh they wasted this money they did this and that it took them to say negative stuff that wasn't irrelevant so people to say oh who who is this group and then when they heard they music oh yeah my grandfather my uncle used to listen to that but it's a lot of groups out there like Houdini didn't get the airplane until they lost the number or two yeah I'll message Jay he was when he he was in really put out there until after he was killed they still don't recognize Grandma's Dee he had to go to different places to represent other DJs for him to get notice of who he is they have to play videos of this group Houdini for them to get recognized so when you when you make a point about people asking saying if they were slept on that's irrelevant because you can't judge what other people say because you don't know where they're going cuz you never been there that's just like if you made a music hit and your stuff don't get recognized right away but you hear people something in your Beats or using your music they ask who is this person how this person how is this this person beat when I heard somebody else using it so you got to be put in their shoes to know why they will slap on they even said people slept on those people say we weren't as great as we would the money they should have been earning they should have been making more money for the music they made ice cube sample they beat a lot of rappers sample they beat it's still simple in that beats to this day you can't tell cuz you you don't recognize the beats but what they did instead of them saying okay they we not recognized let me go to school listen to the new school people and they start showing love to the new school people and when the new school people see who they was oh I know this person I used my ancestors used to listen to this this is a smooth beat you know so they have been slapped on you you seen Run DMC and everything you've seen Houdini made recent songs that run them see them didn't make after that and the songs that Houdini made it didn't really get the love and the respect that it deserved because people were so into that killing a hip hop hardcore stuff but they wouldn't listen to positive music someone who did his music was some positive but the rest of their music was positive so when you ask a relative question like that I'm an answer positive answer they have not been recognized correctly it took after ecstasy was was killed or how he died however they still don't know how he just up and died either way it goes he's gone you hear new people saying oh rest in peace that's to see at least to listen to your music all the time come on you one of them you didn't really pay attention to Houdini until they die

    As for me and my Pioneer system back in the day this was truly my favorite Whodini song they ever made. I played this over and over again! I had no idea that AC/DC helped produce it, you can hear the flavor. Damn it saddens me that Ecstasy passed away. Thank you for the memories. Rest in power!!

    Saw them destroy Madison Square Garden on a Friday night December 1985. 20,000 New Yorkers going absolutely bananas. "Back in Black" was such a monster LP this was my favorite cut buried on side two I used to fall asleep to the long guitar solo outro in junior high. Much respect to Jalil and GM Dee a very sad RIP to the rapper Ecstasy.

    This was probably the first cassette I ever bought as I started moving away from vinyl albums and singles. But my dad's car still had an 8-track deck in it. I found an adapter that let you play a cassette through an 8 track system. My music was mobile for the first time and this was the track that I blasted the loudest as I was rolling the streets.

      Nah it all matters and it's all cool. I listened to both songs enough to notice it back then. I think it's even cooler to notice how Chuck ALWAYS mentions that Whodini were his mentors and he learned a lot of his voice inflections AND stage presence from Whodini, specifically Ecstacy.

      @@frankjum yeah you’re right about Chuck always gives props to Whodini. There is a dvd where Ecstasy talks about wanting to give PE more time when they were on tour together. He saw the greatness in them during that time. RIH ECSTASY. I lost a bit of my teenage years with his death.
