Liliac came up on my “you might like” list because I’ve watched many Dio vids on RUclips. When I watched their version of Holy Diver, I was speechless like you. That voice, and the music, and how she copies everything Dio did vocally is truly amazing! I had a feeling you’d love it like I did. Ronnie James Dio has the best voice in metal, in my opinion. While on their current debut nationwide/Canada tour...as the had gigs in the Northeast and Canada!.. The church was literally around the corner from the house were they where staying. The opening sequence...where they zoomed down on the church ..was done with a drone!.. This WHOLE production of this video..was done my themselves!.. EVERY single aspect!..there is NO professional that helped in making this ..EPIC video!.. 😁😃👍🏻👏🏻🤟🏻🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇

From what I've seen and heard from this amazing family.......... God love the parents. Watching several of their vids behind the scenes Florin and Nineta Cristea, thank you for giving a frigging damn about your children. In this day and age there's a sickness in the U.S. and I've watched it fester for over 25yrs, a breed of un caring adults giving birth to what we've been seeing raising havoc and terror with shootings and other crimes. From another country they came here and have proven this is how you raise and love talented kids. Sad, most born and raised American young adults only know the internet as mom n dad these day. The street corner known as the world wide web. Not to mention the unfiltered online console games that your 10yr old(or younger) listens to with headphones. Children hearing and learning ugly things from grown adults playing and talking through the shooter games. R rated games....with warnings! Sigh.....anyways lol. Great reaction!!! Man you were quick onto this, they only released it themselves yesterday. Yes it is a great cover of a great song, Melody has the voice that the rest of them follows and together they manage to pull it off very well.
My first reaction to them could be described as shock: they are shockingly good, their ages not even considered. They are old enough to have attained a high level of mastery through experience, not only as individual musicians but in terms of playing together as a unitary band. Of course, the talent had to be there too, and obviously they are far from lacking in that area. They're one of my favorite musical acts, always enjoyable to listen to.

Saw these guys in concert this summer and they are legit. I believe the keyboard player is only 11-12 years old. The lead guitarist is 20-21. Melody, the lead singer is 17 I think. Her vocals would make any 80s hair band proud. I hope they continue with keeping this music alive.
The first time I saw them was in a video on facebook and they did Rainbow in the Dark and I was completely blown away and have watched them grow since the Santa Monica pier days. I knew the first time I saw their video that they were on their way to Rock Super Stardom. I'm feelin it!
I've been following Liliac for a while now, what an amazing band! Vocals are killer, guitars well done, keyboards fill in nicely and the drums, my gosh, where would a band be without the drummer huh? She just flat lays it down and her timing ins remarkable, holds the group together like glue.
some more people need to find this band, because they absolutely are the future of rock n roll... they are old school sound and can do so many covers, but they have their own songs that could light up the charts if they can catch fire with the radio stations

When you listen to what the words are you’ll get several interpretations, especially if you listen to what other people say. I love any kind of rock music and what is great is seeing and hearing that the music we love is going to continue on long after we’re gone!! BTW, I’m a 59 year old woman from Texas who’s seen over 70 concerts with over 175 bands!! Everything from Seals and Crofts when I was 14 to Deep Purple (my all time favorite concert) to Aerosmith and everything in between!! Like I said, I love my music!!! The same agency that Slaughter, Motley Crue, and Loverboy just to name a few really awesome 80s bands were signed to. Now they will have the opportunity to tour with some more popular bands, and maybe even headline their own concert
It’s amazing how talented they are at such a young age . Talk about good genes. I bet dad plays all instruments. . Her raspy voice killed it . I see in other videos of there’s the lead singer plays bass also .

I stood next to dad of this group at a concert about a month ago and he was so cool and proud of his kids. Love the way they did this song and her voice has such a great range. These guys are awesome in front of concert to get a chance to see them. Never seen one of them without a smile on their face
I have been following Liliac for most of the year now. Found them on accident, WOW! Just WOW! I went to Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, etc. concerts this group could play right alongside them! Amazing voice and amazing talent. I love the new stuff! You have to listen to it.
Living in Sweden, I can't belive how lucky I was to get the opportunity to meet the band when I visited LA last January ! Mel really has the perfect Rock/ Metal voice, and she's the best female singer I've heard in years ! Sam is also really klling it on the guitar ! They need to get more original stuff out though, this far they only got an EP, released this year. I accually bought it from them the day before it was officially released, and got it signed ! These sibling's got a TON of talant ! They only need to find their own expression, their own sound, and make more originals. When they do that, the sky's the limit for these guys !
It is definitely one of their best cover/cover vids they have done. Almost like Ronnie Dio has returned his spirit back into Melody. I guess she was around 6 when he died. Have you done any reactions to their original new stuff yet? If you haven't We are the Children is a great one.
"Fang"-tastic reaction man! These kids are the real deal and they just have that raw and natural "rock-ness" that has seemed so lacking for so long. Samuel is a tremendous player, but all the others are very good on their instruments. But of course, some might say without Melody on vocals, they might just be another band. She definitely has a unique and gravelly voice that sets her apart. In fact, it's the same quality in her singing that set 80's metal apart because the singers could bring the "scream" and the "growl" without having to get ridiculous about it like today's metal core. Not to say that some bands (obviously Slipknot and Tool come to mind) today aren't special, but it's awesome to see another band hearkening back to the halcyon days of late 70's hard rock and 80's metal without sounding like they are trying too hard or not living up to the standard. Yet they have original music with a progressive and modern sound and it's only gonna get better! Check out Chain of Thorns or Not Afraid or Dancing in the Dark...they are all worth watching and reviewing. Thanks!!

I don’t have an idea what this is about. I listen for the whole experience!! When you listen to what the words are you’ll get several interpretations, especially if you listen to what other people say. I love any kind of rock music and what is great is seeing and hearing that the music we love is going to continue on long after we’re gone!! BTW, I’m a 59 year old woman from Texas who’s seen over 70 concerts with over 175 bands!! Everything from Seals and Crofts when I was 14 to Deep Purple (my all time favorite concert) to Aerosmith and everything in between!! Like I said, I love my music!!! Love your take on these videos especially when your kids are on!! Good on ya dude!!
Hey there I just wanted to pass along some news about the band Liliac. They recently signed a contract with L.A. booking agency, BTE. The same agency that Slaughter, Motley Crue, and Loverboy just to name a few really awesome 80s bands were signed to. Now they will have the opportunity to tour with some more popular bands, and maybe even headline their own concert
I think it is awesome to watch a young band grow and really making it. GO GO GO GO "LILIAC."

You should check out Liliac's cover of "Rainbow in the Dark" and their own original song "Chain of Thorns". They are from Transylvania, Romania and their name is Romanian for Vampire Bat.
I just seen you amazing kids yesterday . I'm really sorry I just noticed u . I guess that's what happens when you turn sixty . I've loved rock music since I was your ages . I loved all of it so far and every time I hear another song it just keeps getting better . Your parents must be very amazing parents . They have very amazing kids for sure . "I'm glad you like them,they could go far.. But I hope they don't paint themselves into a corner by doing 80's metal,exclusively. And ten years down the road they're still a cover band,doing videos on RUclips and doing cruise ship concerts backing up Kiss. I really want to see them expand and become a real band.
But they are a real Band...you need to give them some time,I mean Sam is the oldest and hes only 20! They have only been playing their instruments for about 5 years and they already put.peo people twice,three times their ages to shame. Doing covers is just a start. And their originals are awesome too! Perfection takes time!

I stood next to dad of this group at a concert about a month ago and he was so cool and proud of his kids. Love the way they did this song and her voice has such a great range. These guys are awesome in front of concert to get a chance to see them. Never seen one of them without a smile on their face

I have been following Liliac for most of the year now. Found them on accident, WOW! Just WOW! I went to Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, etc. concerts this group could play right alongside them! Amazing voice and amazing talent. I love the new stuff! You have to listen to it.
They are fantastic, They breathe life into rock/metal, they are beyond words, absolutely amazing world class talent, flawless.
They definitely nailed it! Will have to check out more of their music.
Living in Sweden, I can't belive how lucky I was to get the opportunity to meet the band when I visited LA last January ! Mel really has the perfect Rock/ Metal voice, and she's the best female singer I've heard in years ! Sam is also really klling it on the guitar ! They need to get more original stuff out though, this far they only got an EP, released this year. I accually bought it from them the day before it was officially released, and got it signed ! These sibling's got a TON of talant ! They only need to find their own expression, their own sound, and make more originals. When they do that, the sky's the limit for these guys !
It is definitely one of their best cover/cover vids they have done. Almost like Ronnie Dio has returned his spirit back into Melody. I guess she was around 6 when he died. Have you done any reactions to their original new stuff yet? If you haven't We are the Children is a great one.
"Fang"-tastic reaction man! These kids are the real deal and they just have that raw and natural "rock-ness" that has seemed so lacking for so long. Samuel is a tremendous player, but all the others are very good on their instruments. But of course, some might say without Melody on vocals, they might just be another band. She definitely has a unique and gravelly voice that sets her apart. In fact, it's the same quality in her singing that set 80's metal apart because the singers could bring the "scream" and the "growl" without having to get ridiculous about it like today's metal core.
Not to say that some bands (obviously Slipknot and Tool come to mind) today aren't special, but it's awesome to see another band hearkening back to the halcyon days of late 70's hard rock and 80's metal without sounding like they are trying too hard or not living up to the standard. Yet they have original music with a progressive and modern sound and it's only gonna get better! Check out Chain of Thorns or Not Afraid or Dancing in the Dark...they are all worth watching and reviewing. Thanks!!

Yep these kids formerly known as The Cristeas (Liliac) are super talented and their originals are awesome as well. I love the way Melody has basically took on the Ronnie Dio stage personification.
